Fabled Love

Chapter 8

     "So uh, what's up guys?" Tori questioned as she felt Jade turn around behind her and wrap her arms back around her. Glaring at them, daring them to say anything spiteful or sarcastic. Resting her chin on Toris shoulder when they looked away. " Jade be nice they're still our friends." Her knowing what Jade was doing.

     "Fine if I must be. What's up?" Tightening her arms around Toris waist and pulling her impossibly closer. Still being protective, not sure how the talk was going to go.

     "When did you guys get so..." They all paused from talking at the same time to look at each other. "Friendly?"

     Jade shrugs as she answers them. " About two months give or take a couple days. Right Tori?" She asks as she kisses her shoulder that's exposed from the shirt she's wearing.

     "Uh yeah, exactly two months yesterday. She's still not good at remembering. I have to remind her occasionally." She answered as she rested her hand over Jades. They all just stared at the girls for a minute. Trying to comprehend what they had just heard. While also trying to figure out how they never realized they were together.

     "How come we've never known you two were together? I'm your best friend Tor, I should have known." Andre questioned as the others just nodded their heads, still speechless to actually say anything.

     " I'm sorry Andre, but we were trying to see how everything was going to work out. We wanted to take it slow and see how it went. We weren't sure how you guys would take it. Her and I haven't exactly been the best of friends. We decided earlier today that we didn't care what anyone thought of us anymore. I really am sorry everyone and Jade probably is too, but we needed to keep it to ourselves for awhile." She felt bad for keeping it from everyone, but her and Jade both felt it was for the best at the beginning. They needed to focus on other things and not what people would think of them or their relationship.

      " Tor we get it it at least I do. You guys needed to strengthen your relationship and besides that, no one really needs to know what happens in your relationship. It's none of their business." Andre looked around at the others waiting for them to give their replies as well. Fully supporting Jade and Tori being together.

     "Yeah Tori, we just wanted to know what made you friends all of sudden. It's going to take awhile to get used to it." Tori felt Jade smile against her shoulder. Tori knew that even though her and Beck weren't together anymore, she still valued his opinion.

     "I wanna watch them kiss an..." Jade let go of Tori and snatched Rex from Robbie. Before walking over to a trash can and throwing him in it. Robbie yelling at Jade to stop the entire time, before giving him a glare.

     "Can it Robbie or you'll get it too." Jade walked back over to Tori and continued their earlier positions. Closing her eyes and sighing contently when Tori rested her hands over hers. Completely calm, even after yelling at Robbie.

     Robbie puts his hands up in defense before speaking. " I was just going to say you guys look good together, but now that you mention it, Rex didn't deserve that." Jade opened her eyes and glared at him over Toris shoulder, making him retract what he just said.

     "Cat what do you think?" She had been quiet this entire time just watching everyone speak and smiling.

     "Think of what?" Cat asked as she continued to stare at everyone, frustrating Jade.

     "Ugh here we go. She wasn't even paying attention babe. You'll have to explain..." Jade started to talk before she was interrupted.

     "Babe?!?!" Everyone shouted at once making Jade flinch at the noise and then starts blushing, realizing what she just said.
