"i guess i'll leave so you can text your girlfriend in peace..."
liv muttered, breathing in shakily, before standing up. her hand grabbed the juice box whilst her hand was grabbed by minho's.
"what are you on about, liv?"

his voice saying her name sent her walls crumbling down as she turned around to face him.
"don't do this. i know you like someone outside of this camp judging by the way you have been married to your phone the last couple of days. so don't pretend you care for me just because it's my birthday tomorrow. let go of me, please."
she didn't want to, but she felt tears welling up in her eyes, slowly threatening to stream down her face.

"what.. why... liv don't cry because of this."
his voice wasn't as cold as it usually was, it was tinted with concern. he stood up, shaking his head at her height, before embracing her.
the girls' body froze and the beverage still in her hand plummeted to the ground.
"relax, i don't bite."

"i'm not so sure about that."
she managed to croak, before he broke the hug eyes going huge upon seeing the tears.
"i told you not to cry."
he scolded, wiping her tears with his sweater paws, caressing her face lightly.
"my mum constantly keeps me updated on my three cats i have at home. that's why i was always on my phone, because i miss them so much."

he admitted, shrugging. he didn't get why it was such a huge deal to her.
"i hate you, minho."
liv tittered, sniffling before accidentally locking eyes with him. she felt her heart jump and her stomach tie into a tight knot. she didn't want to admit it, but deep down she knew she wouldn't be able to get over him that easily.

"hey.. that's not nice."
he pouted and took a step back from her, an awkward silence lingering between them after.
"c-could you maybe show me your cats?"
liv managed to say, stuttering as her heart-rate increased severely watching minho break into a huge, toothy smile.

"i'd love to! i- why are you shaking?"
minho pointed at the girls shaking hands and trembling knees, a worried frown on his face.
"it's nothing. don't worry."
liv immediately buried her hands in the pockets of her pants, but minho pulled one out again, inhaling sharply as he came in contact with the ice cold digits.

"you're freezing! why didn't you say anything?"
he shook his head and stripped out of his sweater, handing it to the girl.
"t-thanks.."
a light rosy pink dusted her cheeks and minho chuckled, putting an arm around her waist and pulling her towards the meeting place of the group.

areum and chan stepped back to the isolated patch of grass that was overlooked by an old, slightly eery hut. it felt more like a scenery of a theme park rather than an actual place. but instead of being able to enjoy the magical place, both of them almost dropped the bags filled to the brim with food, snacks and drinks, upon feasting their eyes on the chaos that had erupted while they were gone.

instead of setting up the games for the night chaehwa and jeongin were chasing each other around the hut, yedam and jisung arm wrestled while seongmi and felix were tangled up in fairy lights.
"what the actual fuck.."
areum breathed out, putting the bags down and rubbing her temples.

"where are woojin and miyun? they know that we can't leave them unsupervised."
chan growled before raising his voice, causing the whole chaos to freeze right then and there.
"all of you will do their jobs as they were told. right. now. i'm not joking, this is important."
chan continued, when areum stepped in and started massaging his triceps to calm him down.

"babe-"
he tried to warn but she already had her arms around his waist and her face buried in his broad shoulders.
"relax. we'll get everything done in time."
her voice was muffled against his muscles and her mind was quickly dazed by his scent, her hands roaming his body.

"areum, not now. stop teasing or you'll regret it later tonight."
his voice was low and his ears slowly turned red, when miyun busted out of the hut wearing a huge and proud smile.
"everything is ready! now we just have to wait for the others to return."
she waved at the areum and chan, who was visibly confused.

nothing was ready in the slightest, at least felix had hung up the fairy lights by now.
he stepped towards miyun, a soft frown on his face.
"what do you mean? nothing is close to being ready and-"
the words got stuck in his throat as he caught a glimpse of the inside of the house, his jaw dropping in absolute awe.

"y-you did this? it's breathtaking!"
chan exclaimed and flung his arms around the frail girl, who stumbled backwards and lost balance, resulting in chan on top of her.
he scrambled up immediately, face a bright red and held a hand out to help miyun up.
"sorry. are you okay?"

she just giggled and dusted off her butt, sending chan a quick nod in areum's direction.
"you better help her or she'll cry."
chan's smile fell, eyes dropping to the floor.
"i'm horrible."
miyun simply patted his shoulder and shoved him down the porch, sending him an encouraging smile when he turned his head towards her.

"areum angel, i'm sorry for-"
he was cut off by her lips on his, as her hands cupped his face.
"shut up idiot."
she mumbled against his lips and giggled into the kiss while chan's hands rested atop her butt.

yedam kicked pebbles with every step she took, a huge pout on her lips caused by jisung easily winning in the afore mentioned arm wrestle.
"yedamie c'mon don't fret. what did you expect?"
an arm snuck around her waist, suddenly pulling the girl back, her twirling into jisungs arms.
"can you please not ignore me?"

he pleaded, trying desperately to make their eyes meet, but yedam stubbornly stared at the ground, their shadows wavering as the sea slowly swallowed every last bit of light.
"yedam, i'm talking to you."
when she looked up she was met by a flushed jisung, hair messy and pupils shaking.
"sorry i blanked out."
she murmured, overwhelmed by his arms around her and his face so close to hers.

"i like you."
he suddenly busted out, nibbling on his lower lip nervously.
"i know, stupid. i know a solution for that. we should be boyfriend and girlfriend."
she simply stated, convinced that jisung was joking.
"great! one condition, i get to be the boyfriend."
he replied, his tone equally as sarcastic as yedam's had been before.

"sure. now let's get back to the others, i'm starving."
but jisung held her back and just leaned in, connecting their lips in a swift peck, leaving yedam baffled, before running back to the group.
"yah, han jisung!"
her yells were muffled by a pair of hands over her lips and when she turned around, she was met by her best friend, chaehwa.
"what the actual fuck?!"
she squealed, flicking her forehead, leaving her wailing in pain.

"i would expect a girl who just had her first kiss to be more giddy than aggressive."
the younger girl remarked, her arms crossed over her chest.
"i would expect a girl who just shocked her best friend to death to be more apologetic."
yedam retorted, before staring at the orange glow coming from a bonfire the others had set up.

"if he wants to play, game on."
she leaped forward, running uphill, reaching jisung and the others quickly, where she simply went up to him and smashed her lips against his. all that with a little too much vigor, making both parties scatter apart in an instant. the groups banter died down as they stared at the two, holding their mouths in pain.
"you're just plain dumb."
jisung grumbled, pressing a cool bottle of beer against his lips.

"y'all shut the fuck up and make way for the queen."
chaehwa panted, out of breath from running and revealed liv and minho behind her.
"do you mind never doing that again?"
liv whispered, burning up at the stares on her.
