The Woods. Thomas kept saying those two words over and over in his mind. He had no idea how a place of such natural beauty could exist in a world succumbing to the Flare. Minho seemed to know what he was thinking.
"Yeah, yeah, stare at the Woods and crap like that. Come on, we need to get going," he said. After that, Thomas, Brenda, and Jorge just followed Minho. After another few minutes of walking-well, Thomas thought it was a few minutes-they came across what Thomas assumed was what Minho was talking about at dinner last night. It looked to be a burned-down hut.
"Well, folks, I hope you've enjoyed your glorius tour through the Woods, but I'm afriad this is our last stop,"
Minho sarcastically commented. He stressed the word glorius.
"Just shut up and tell us what this pile of crap is," Jorge said.
"Okay, fine. As you can see, it is a burned-down hut. But the strange part is, the cinders are still hot. It's been recently burned," Minho informed everyone.
"So you mean there's other people out there?" Brenda said it like she didn't believe it.
"Yeah, thanks Captain Obvious, but we can all see that," Jorge remarked.
"Something tells me we're supposed to not be here," Thomas commented.
"Ya think?" Minho said.
