Thomas wished he could stay in the Woods. He couldn't.
"Okay, listen up, Survivors! Thomas, me, Jorge and Brenda here went out in the Woods today and found a hut. That had been burned down. Recently," Minho paused, "So we have agreed to assign a new job. Guard. Who would be so kind to graciously volunteer?" There were a few snickers at that. Three Immune's hands shot up. Thomas recognized them as Evan, Aaron, and Alex. They had told him that they had played football before the Flare was accidentally released. Thomas didn't have the slightest idea what football was, but he listened with intent to learn about it.
"Okay, we have three. Anyone else?" Minho said. It didn't matter because at that exact moment, Brenda's jaw dropped to the floor.
