Chicago Fire: Family Edition

Got My Brace Off

    It's been 2 months with the brace on and today I get off the brace. I'm at my therapy appointment and he said, "Your brace is coming off today." I said, "Really." He said, "Yes." I took it off and started to walk around. I didn't fall at all and Matt came in. Matt saw and said, "Oh My God!" I said, "I feel much better."
 I walked towards Matt and my left leg felt weak. Matt caught me because I fell.
      Natalie is in the room and said, "We need to go get a CT on your legs." Natalie grabbed the wheelchair and I sat in it. Natalie pushed me and we got there. Natalie and Matt helped me get my shoes off and got me in the machine. The scans are up. The scans are showing nothing is wrong. They got me out of the machine and Natalie said, "There is nothing wrong with your leg."
      I said, "I just got cleared for work and now this happens." Natalie said, "It's common that things happen Harley." I said, "On the day when I get released back to work." Natalie said, "In 2 days you will be released to go back to work." I said, "No fair." Matt and I left and went to the firehouse. Everyone at the firehouse looked at me weird because I had no brace on.
     I said, "I got the brace off today, but my left leg gave out a little in front of Natalie so I won't be able to come back until 2 more days have passed." Wallace heard and said, "That's stupid." I said, "Do you want me completely healed?"
 Wallace said, "Yes." Today is Thursday and I smell taco meat for taco salads.
I said, "Who made taco salads because they used my recipe?" Stella said, "I did."
I said, "When did I teach you the recipe." Stella said, "2 years ago." I said, "Oh." Stella made mine first and put a thousand island on it with sour cream.
      I said, "Thank you, Stella, for making mine for me." Stella said, "No problem."
Two days later, I went back to see Natalie about going back to work.   Natalie said, "Let's go get the scan."
 I said, "Okay." We got the scan done and she got me out of it so she can show me the scan. Natalie said, "You are perfect to go." I said, "Thank God."
