Chicago Fire: Family Edition

Fire House

      It is our day to work and the Cindy agreed to spend the day at Matt's and my house to watch the quadruplets because we might to work overtime. It is the beginning of our shift and it is my turn to make breakfast. Matt and I was first at the fire house, so I can get started on breakfast for 18 people. Breakfast is eggs, biscuits from the store, bacon, sausage, and hash browns.
        Matt is making the bacon and sausage. I am making the hash browns, eggs, and biscuits. Everyone else started coming in and they smelled food, so they hurried to put up their bags, but Connie and Chloe. Connie, Chloe and Chief got their breakfast first. Then came everyone else, so I moved out of the kitchen. I went to my office and got my laptop out. I got onto my laptop to check my bank account. I saw that I had a money transfer what went into my account. I called the bank, and someone picked up.
       I said, "Hi. This is Harley Casey and I was wondering who transferred money into my account because it was 15 million dollars." The clerk said, "That was from your dead aunt Ruth." I said, "I don't have a dead aunt Ruth, but let me ask my husband." I got up and went to the kitchen. I said after I put the phone on mute, "Matt, do you have an Aunt Ruth." Matt said, "Yes. Why?" I said, "She is dead, and her lawyer somehow got me and you mixed up because I got 15 million dollars transferred into my account."
    Matt said, "I don't know how they got us confused." Matt and I went back to my office, and I took my phone off of mute to put on speaker. I said, "I got my husband here with me." The clerk said, "Ok. I think they wanted it in your guys joint account." Matt said, "That's our savings for the kids yes." We got it figured out and Matt hugged me. I kissed him and Kelly interrupted. Kelly said, "Matt, you have a visitor on the floor. Hint your sister."
    Matt and I walked out together. Christie said, "Why didn't you tell me that you had a new wife and quadruplets with this women? Who does this women think she is taking a Captain firefighter with money?" Matt said, "She didn't know about the money until this morning when she checked her bank account. She is the most beautiful brilliant woman I know and you actually met my new wife before at a cook out I had."
     I am behind Matt and Christie doesn't know I'm there. Christie said, "That whore Harley. Your guys kids are ugly, awful, and disgusting."  I came out from behind him and I started fighting her. I am beating the shit out of her, and Chief, Matt, Kelly, Tony, Herman, Capp, and Cruz to break up the fight between us.   I was still going at her, but Kelly, Tony, and Herman grabbed me off of her. I gave Christie a fractured arm, black eye, and bruised ribs. Chief said, "Harley inside now. Matt get your sister out of here now."  Tony, Kelly, and Herman took me inside. Tony said, "Good for you for sticking up for yourself and your babies."
    Tony, Kelly, and Herman gave me a group hug. Chief saw and said, "Harley my office now." I walked into Chiefs office and he said, "You are lucky, I'm not firing you because of what you did." I said, "I was defending my children. Matt was not going to do anything about it. She called me a whore who wanted Matt's money. I fell in love with my husband way before we inherited the money. I do not care about the money. Yes, it will help us with the kids." Chief hugged me and said, "You are lucky that you are like a daughter to me. I know you can take down anyone that's why you and Matt are still on Truck 81 together."
     I said, "I took fighting classes the day after my uncle Fred raped me, so I would know how to defend myself and my families." Matt came in and said, "Christie is now suing us for all the money." I said, "Like hell she is. She only has 1 child to support. We have Quadruplets. Who do you think the court will side with? A decorated Captain of the CFD and a decorated Lieutenant of the CFD. You think your sister is going to win the settlement. We can wear our CFD uniforms to show them what we do. I will have Kelly, Herman, and Chief there with us." Kelly and Herman walked in.
    I said, "Kelly and Herman would you back us up in a law suit. Can you guys wear your Lieutenant uniforms?" They said, "Yes." All of us headed out to the longue and it was either Kelly or Herman who tipped off the rest of team about what was going on. Brett came forward and said, "We would love to back you at the lawsuit against Matt's sister because Matt forgot he had a rich aunt Ruth." I said, "I do not know when the law suit is going to happen, but when the court date is set, I will need you guys to dress in your uniforms."
      I walked to my office and Stella followed. Stella said, "What the hell happened out there?" I said, "She called my innocent babies are ugly, awful, and disgusting. Then she called me a whore, so I came from behind Matt and started beating the shit out of her." Stella said, "I'm pregnant. I'm about 3 months into the pregnancy, but I don't know how to tell the chief or anyone else. Can you help me tell them?" I said, "Congratulations. Sure I will help you."
      We went back out to the longue and I said, "Stella and I have an announcement." Everyone stopped what they were doing and started listening. Stella said, "I'm 3 months Pregnant." Everyone got up and walked toward to hug Stella. I went back to my office and facetime Dad, "Hey. How are the babies doing?" Dad said, "Ava and Josh are asleep in their cribs. Ryan and Parker are in their rockers in the living room with me."
      I said, "It's just been a long day. I been having horrible nightmares from what happened to me so many years ago and it happened to my girls when they got to the age I was when it happened. I haven't even told Matt yet about it." Jay came in and saw that Matt's stepdad Jake was on the computer.
       Dad said, "Look behind you." I turned around and it was Jay. I said, "What are you doing here, Jay?" Jay said, "Uncle Fred is now put away for life. You do not have to testify." I got up and hugged Jay. I kissed him on the check and Jay left.Dad said, "I will leave you be because you are working." Dad hung up and Kelly came in. Kelly said, "How are you feeling?" I said, "A lot better because Jay just told me that my bastard Uncle Fred got life in prison and Fred is going to get pay back because I know the Warden."
      Kelly hugged me and said, "That's good news." Kelly and I headed back out to the longue. The fire house barely gets calls on my shift. Everyone saw that I had a smile on my face. Matt came up to me and said, "We just heard the good news." I said, "I'm guessing Jay told you." Matt said, "No the news station did because Hank had the news people outside the courthouse ready for his humiliation."
     I said, "Did someone record it for me?" Matt said, "I had the news people replay it again for another hour." Mouch unmuted the tv and I sat down by the tv. Chief and everyone from Hank's office came in. I said, "What is it?" Hank said, "The van what was transporting Fred got into a crash and Fred escaped." I said, "What the hell Hank?" Hank said, "Every law enforcement is looking for him across the whole US because we do not know how far of a head start he has."
    I said, "Do you have squad cars out infront of my house at least?" Hank said, "Yes. Jay and Erin are there in your house. I believe Will just got there." A panic attack started and I sat down in a corner started rocking back and forth. Kim, Stella, Kelly, Tony, and Brett sat down by me. Kim put her hand on my leg and saying, "Harley look at me." I looked at her and Kim said, "We are going to get him back into custody.  He won't be able to get to you or your family ever again."
     Kim put her arms around me and I put my head on her shoulder. Kim said, "Hank take everyone else and go hunt for him."  Kevin, Antonio, and Adam said, "Harley, we will be taking shifts at your house until he gets caught." I nodded and they left, but Kim stayed. There is 2 patrol cars outside of the fire house. Chief said, "I'm taking fire house 51 out of service until the next shift comes." Matt grabbed my candy stash from my office.
      Matt gave it to me and I said, "I do not want it." Matt ran it back to my desk. Chief said, "Guys let Harley be. Unless you are sitting be her." I got up and headed into the gym inside the fire house after I changed into my shorts. I headed into the gym, but I saw Fred with a gun. I silently pressed the alarm on my Fitbit it signal Matt's phone.
     Matt said, "Harley just pressed her silently arm on her Fitbit. It must be Fred in the fire house." Kim came running with her gun drawn and saw I was frozen. Kim said, "Fred put the gun down now." Fred said, "I want her dead because she got me sentenced to death in prison."  Kim said, "Put the gun down now." Fred did not, so Kim put 2 into his chest by his heart. Matt came running and saw Fred dead on the gym floor.
      Kim radioed Hank, "Hank. Fred was here at the Fire House and he is dead now." Hank, Kevin, and Adam came back to the fire house with a crime scene people. I said, "I was just trying to work out and Fred was hiding in here waiting to kill me, but Matt installed a silent alarm onto my Fitbit to signal Matt's phone, so I pressed it."
      Chief said, "Everyone stay out of the gym for at least a few shifts, so the crime scene people can do there jobs." I went into my office to change back into my work pants. Matt came in and shut and locked the door behind him. Matt shut the blinds and then came up to me, and he put his hands on my face to kiss me. I did not move because I was enjoying it. Gallo knocked on my door and I said, "What do you want?"
    Gallo said, "I'm looking for Matt." Matt unlocked the door and said, "Yes Gallo." Gallo said, "Your sister is back with a lawyer." I went out there to the apparatus floor and said in a loud tone, "How dare you bring a lawyer to the place I work?" Everyone came out to see what's going on, but Squad 3 is at their table.
    Christie said, "This doesn't concern you bitch. It's just Matt's and my business."  I said, "Oh, yes it does because it deals with my Quadruplets future." Matt said, "Stop you two. You are acting like children." I said, "Butt out of it Matt because apparently you do not have the balls to stick up to your sister." Christie said, "Do not talk to him that way." I said, "You better get your lawyer and your ass out of here in the next 60 seconds or I'm going to call the cops. I do have a brother on the police department."
     Christie and her lawyer left. I went out back towards the dumpster. I started punching the dumpster until blood started coming out of my knuckles. I went to the ambo to get supplies, but Brett saw my knuckles. Brett said, "Seriously Harley." I said, "It's none of your business how this happened. Can you just help me put stuff on it?"
Brett got the first aid kit from the ambo. I sat down inside the ambo and said, "I hate Matt's sister so much because she can manipulate Matt, but I can see right threw her lies." Brett said, "I know."
      Cruz came up to the ambo and said, "How did this happen Harley?" I said, "I was punching the dumpster repeatedly until I got my anger out of my system because of all the shit I been through today." I got up after Brett wrapped my hands and Cruz hugged me. I said, "Are you done yet?" Cruz let me go and Kelly is at Squads table, and shaking his head no at me. I said, "What's your problem Kelly?" Kelly said nothing. I went to my office to lay down. I saw something in my office and it was a person going through my things. I looked it was just Matt and I said, "Can I help you with something?"
      Matt said, "I can't find my charger for my phone." I said, "Have you checked your office?" Matt said, "No." I said, "I put it on your bed first thing when we got here." Matt looked at my hands and said, "What happened?" I said, "I was punching the dumpster to get my anger out. They should be healed before we leave tomorrow morning." Matt got up and kissed the top of my head. Matt hugged me and I laid my head on his chest.  Matt said, "You are the most beautiful brilliant strongest woman I have known in the CFD and in life." It is 7 o'clock at night and it is my turn to cook dinner. I said, "What do you guys want for dinner?" They said, "Whatever is easier on you to make."
      I grabbed out lunch meats and said, "We are having sandwiches with different types of meat on them. If you come up one by one, I can make your sandwich."Matt came up to help me and he got out the condiments and cheese. Chief came up first and said, "I would like a ham and chicken sandwich with Mayo, lettuce, cheese and tomato."
      Matt got the bread with Mayo, lettuce, cheese and tomato, and I got the meats on the sandwich. I put it on a plastic plate and handed it to Chief. Capp came up and said, "I will take a turkey and chicken with Mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato and cheese." Matt got the bread, Mayo, mustard, lettuce, cheese, and tomato. Then Matt   gave me the sandwich and I put the meat on it. I gave the sandwich to Capp.
     Herman and Otis come up. We got through most of the sandwiches made and I saw that Jay and Erin is out on the apparatus floor. I said, "You can handle this right Matt." Matt said, "Yes." I left and went to the apparatus floor. Erin said, "I heard what happened with Matt's sister Christie. Now she has a restraining order against you."
       I started laughing and said, "That bitch actually did it. She came to my work, insulted me at my work, and came back with a lawyer to my work. She doesn't know the answer is to stay the hell away when their is a court date set." Jay said, "Harley I believe you 100%." I said, "Thanks Jay at least someone in my family believes me."
Erin said, "Matt is behind you."
      I turned around and said, "It is the truth." I walked back inside and got a video message. I played the video and it was Christie. Christie said, "If you don't divorce my brother, I will keep coming for your marriage. By the way I am going to win the law suit for the money because I bribed the judge."
    I went out to the apparatus floor and showed them the video. I said, "Now do you think I'm crazy you guys. She just wants me and Matt to be done because she wants her brother back to herself. Can't you like get the judge in trouble for that." Jay said, "Send that to me would you." I sent it to Jay and Erin called Hank. Hank answered and said, "Hey Erin, what do you need?" Erin said, "Harley just got a threatening video from Matt's sister Christie and Harley sent it to Jay because we can use that in the law suit."
      Hank said, "Okay, I need you and Jay back at the district anyway." Erin hung up and said, "Hank needs us back at the district." Erin and Jay left the fire house. I said, "Your sister is crazy and I knew that the day I met her at that cook out, but you did not want to believe me." Matt said, "Now I finally believe you after you showed me the video." I went back in and got my stuff packed.
     Matt came in my office and said, "I'm sorry that my sister is doing this to our family." I said, "I knew she was crazy from the start, but you couldn't see it until now." Matt said, "I'm truly sorry." I said, "You are lucky I don't divorce because of this shit." Matt said, "Please don't divorce me. You are one of the only things that keeps me going everyday." I said, "Then you better get it together or we are done."
      Matt hugged me and Stella said, "Christie has been leaving threatening messages on the phone and Chief knows about it." I said, "Your sister is fucking crazy." Then I called Kevin and Kevin answered.  Kevin said, "What is a matter?" I said, "It is Matt's crazy sister leaving threatening messages on my work place phone." Kevin said, "I will be down there shortly to listen to the messages." I said, "Okay." Kevin got to the fire house and I was by the phone. I said, "Kev over here."
      Kevin came over and I played the messages and he recorded them. We got them all recorded and the hearing is tomorrow because it got pushed up with a new judge. I announced, "I need everyone in the briefing room now." I got to the briefing room and Matt's already there because he got a text from our lawyer. We all got to the briefing room and I said, "The hearing for the lawsuit got moved up to tomorrow at 10 am, so I need you to be dressed and ready at the court house at 9:50 am. Do you guys copy that?"
      They said, "Yes." I went back to my office and grabbed my stuff. I have to go relieve Jake from watching the babies. Jake texted me, "Hey, you can stay for your shift." I texted, "I'm like 2 blocks away." I finally got home and Jake is past out on the couch. I put a blanket on Jake. I checked the cameras to see if the babies are asleep. It is almost 11 and I am heading up to my bedroom.
