"Ok, um, I guess I'll bring you to one of the guest rooms? Just follow me." Peter instructed Loki. He still wasn't overly sure about the spell Strange had put on Loki, but it would have to do. Peter helped him up, and for a while they just walked down the hallways in silence, until Loki broke the ice.

"What was 'New York'?" He asked, somewhat shyly. "Or that invasion you spoke of?" Which made Peter tense up, trying to think of a way to be kind, or at least nonchalant about what had happened. Play it cool. Peter told himself.

"Ooohhh yeah. Um, I don't know how to explain this, since you have amnesia and all, but you kinda tried to take over humanity." Peter replied, trying not to be rude when breaking the news. Loki blinked a few times, then made a face, perhaps trying to uncover the memory.

"...I assume I didn't succeed. Was that all?" Loki asked. Peter stared down at his feet, not wanting to share about the people Loki had killed. He also didn't want to lie, so he came up with a different approach.

"Here, gimme a sec..." He said, getting out his phone and opening up a video. "This was the news, what happened in Germany. Another Earth place." Peter clarified, showing him the video. Loki once again squinted at the sight. He was somewhat confused by the person in the video. It didn't look like him, but yet there was still something about that person...

"True, that might be me. But it is not truly me, it's quite obvious, honestly." Loki told Peter, who, in turn, looked terribly confused.

"What does that mean?" Peter asked Loki.

"Well, look at there body language. They sit up straight, but it is wearing them. There are scarce traces of bruise marks, and sunken eyes. Speaking of which, the eyes are different. This person is under mind control, obviously." Loki explained to Peter, with a hint of pride and triumph for figuring it out so quickly.

"Loki, remember, that's you." Peter kindly reminded Loki. "And that's horrible! That would mean you were blamed for something you didn't do!"

"It would not surprise me. I have often been blamed for things I haven't done." Loki replied as if it were common knowledge. He wasn't really fond of the topic though, not wanting to know what had happened at 'New York', so he tried to change the subject. "Haven't we passed that plant a few times?" Loki asked Peter, who immediately blushed. Peter thought that he was stupid, for having gotten the two of them lost.

"Oh, ha, yeah, maybe. Uh, FRIDAY? You wouldn't mind if you gave us directions, right?" Peter asked nervously.

"Of course not, Peter. I have downloaded them to your watch." FRIDAY replied, kindly, as always.

"Thanks." Peter responded sheepishly. Loki looked around, amazed by FRIDAY. Tony had updated her and made some adjustments so she worked through the speakers.

Finally, after another five minutes, they had arrived at Loki's room. "Here we are! I'm gonna go get some blankets and sheets. If you need anything, just ask FRIDAY!" Peter said happily and ran off to get what was needed.

As Peter left, Loki looked around the room and smiled. "Well, although this has been fun..." Loki exclaimed to himself. "...I better get going." He snapped, attempting to use magic to teleport somewhere, anywhere, other than here and use the Bifrost to go back to Asgard. Unfortunately for him, Strange had used a spell, disabling the use of strong magic. It sent a shock through his body, knocking him to the floor and giving him a nasty bloody nose. Another minute and Peter had come in.

"Oh my god! What-What happened?!" Peter asked, very worried. No, he hadn't really known Loki, but he was fond of him. Hell, Peter was fond of just about everyone he met. Sometimes he didn't wanna be nice to everyone, just look, what was the word? Tough? Something like that. But for now, he had to deal with this problem.

Oh dear, Peter. What have you gotten yourself into? The comic up top was created by Kogla, and was part of the comic that this was based on! Next chapter will check in on the rest of the team! Gotta leave you on a cliffhanger, ya know?
