Finally, I update! But I am happy that these are getting a lot longer. Anyhoo, let's get on with it, shall we?
Peter dragged Loki to the training room, blabbering about all of the settings and weapons. After a dreadful five minutes, they had arrived in the big, open room. There was a small glass compartment, with a wide, tall room completely covered in white. Peter gave his big cheesy grin. "C'mon!" He said and dragged Loki some more.
Peter brought Loki to the glass compartment. There was a big panel of buttons, all color coded, all different tricks that's would spark with the push of one. Peter always had a hard time restraining himself in this room. He only knew what a few meant, but he knew what the big blue one was, which also happened to be his favorite. Though Peter was firmly instructed not to press the red one. It was, "too hard." Full of giddy, Peter pressed the big blue button.
Out came a shelf from one of the wall tiles. There were rows and rows of weapons. Peter and Loki shared a smile. "These are the weapons I'm allowed to use. Mr. Stark doesn't let me use the big ones, but these are still pretty cool." Peter explained, picking up a metal wristlet. "Check this out!" He enthusiastically placed the band on his wrist. Within a three count Peters Spider Suit was being applied to his arms, like some of Tony's early nano tech. "Cool, right?" He said, now standing in his metal suit.
Loki raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Not bad." Peters jaw dropped.
"Not bad? Not bad! This suit took Mr. Stark and I six weeks to make! Mostly because I broke the first few trying them out... but that doesn't matter! This, this is luxury." Peter explained with dramatic arm motions. Loki opened his mouth, but for a few seconds no words came out.
"I don't think you know what luxury means."
Peter scoffed. "Well I never." And he crossed his arms. This facade quickly wore off as he picked up more weapons. He explained what each one did, until finally reaching melee. "Then here are the swords swoosh swoosh, daggers, blah blah blah." He replied with very little enthusiasm. Then back with his typical pep, he asked, "sooooo which one do you wanna use? Because I was thinking that we could like train together with some cool montage! Like in karate kid? That would be cool, right? So that was my thinking! Unless that's dumb. Is that dumb? I think it's dumb. Unless you like it? Maybe we don't do a montage or maybe we fight. I'd like that yeah! Or no?"
Loki walked over to the daggers. He picked one up, examined it, and set it back down. "The daggers will suffice." Loki replied simply. "As for training, I'd have to say no. I'm not quite sure what a 'montage' is, but I would have to pass. Though I would be willing to see what you know, with a scrimmage?" He asked.
Peter smiled. "I dunno why you'd want dagger with this thing on the table." Peter picked up a modified version of Phil Coulson's gun from The Avengers. "But I think a little battle might be fun." As he smiled, though quickly pulling himself back together. "Umm, you can wear that if you want, we also have some armor right here..." Peter told Loki, pressing another button, opening up an armory.
"Not to worry, I can shape shift." Loki said. He stood there for a few seconds, nothing happening. Loki let out an exasperated sigh and picked at his finger. "That wannabe wizard tampered with my magic, that's all."
"Well, here, take this." Peter ran over and grabbed a green and black trimmed chest piece. He grabbed a pair of black combat boots and set them down next to Loki's feet. "I'll go outside." Peter said running off. Blushing, Loki the chest piece and combat boots on, picking up the daggers and following Peter.
"Alright spiderling, lets see what you can do."
Peter smiled. The two stood directly across from each other. "Hey FRIDAY, start training initiative number 1." Peter called out. Slowly, out of the tiles, steps rose from the ground and walls. Three beeps went off, until one long one signified to start.
