"What the hell are we supposed to do with him? And why is he... younger?"
"I'll figure it out. Because I problem solve, not problem make." Strange spat.
"Your grammar is impeccable." Tony Stark muttered. "Come on sleeping beauty, we don't have all day." He said to Loki, who was slowly blinking into awareness. "Ah, now reindeer games decides to get up." Then Tony looked around. "Wizard, where's Pete?"
"I don't know, nor do I care. I'm going to the sanctum to find some spells to reverse Loki's, current state." Stephen said, taking a portal back to the Sanctum Sanctorum.
"Wait, your not going to leave me here, with him?" Tony said with disgust, pointing to Loki. "Nuh-uh." He said and ran after Stephen, which was no use, considering the Sanctum was a while away, and Stark didn't have his suit. So as Loki slowly woke up, he ran through his head what he knew. I don't know where I am, I don't see Thor. Wasn't it his coronation today? Or was that tomorrow? Loki might've investigated further if a sudden voice didn't interrupt his thoughts.
"Shit!" Muttered a harsh voice. Then it gasped. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to say... oh thank god." Came the voice, not seeing anyone and feeling relief he wouldn't be caught swearing. Even though Loki was behind a curtain in a hospital bed. So he poked his curious head through the curtain. The kid was wrapping his arm with bandages. He was doing it poorly, they kept coming undone. Loki, of course, could wrap an arm easily. He had done it to Thor countless times. So, Loki took a chance.
"Pardon me, but would you like assistance with that?" Loki asked, maintaining his manners, even though his voice was hoarse from not speaking. The kid turned around, shocked.
"Who-who's there?" Peter asked with a shaky voice.
"Look, I don't want to hurt you. It's just I saw you trying to wrap your arm, and we're in what looks like the medical wing, I just thought I'd offer..."
"YES! Oh yes please, just don't tell anyone! I would've asked someone else, it's just, I don't want anyone to know how I broke my arm." Peter said, looking down.
"Come over here." Loki told Peter. Peter obliged, and Loki got to work on his arm. When he was about halfway through, Loki got an idea. "You look smart enough..." he said, eyes flashing green, as peters eyes mimicked the color for a moment. "Tell me, who are you and what realm am I in?" Loki asked slyly.
"I-"
"Don't try that magic here, Loki." Strange scolded coming through a portal from the Sanctum, empty handed. "It won't work."
"So your the wizard who brought me here. I'm impressed, not many people can take on a god." Loki replied, taking in Stephen.
"Do not not flatter yourself Loki, I face bigger threats than you daily. Undo your tricks." Stephen Strange ordered. Loki followed his directions. Then he put his hands behind his back, summoning a dagger.
"We'll see about that..." He said as Peter came back into consciousness. Then Loki whipped his dagger up to Strange's neck. Of course, Stephen easily used magic to hold back his wrath. The dagger was stopped a moment before making contact with his neck.
"Your power is weaker in this form. Do not try to harm me, Loki."
"LOKI?!" Peter practically shouted. Strange rolled his eyes. "You-you mean Loki from New York? He looked so much taller, and more menacing on the news!"
"You really are Starks kid. Yes, Loki from New York, but I feel he is not the same as when he visited me at the Sanctum a year ago." Dr. Stephen informed Peter.
"What's 'The Sanctum'? And who the hell is New York?" Loki asked, now thoroughly confused.
"New York is a place, Loki. Um, the Sanctum is where Mr. Dr. Strange lives." Peter said nervously to the ex villain. "The place you, ya know, tried to invade..."
"What? I did no such thing! This wizard is a poser, a fake in Asgard! He doesn't, he can't-"
"LOKI!" Strange called to get his attention. Sparks were flying from Loki's hands. "You aren't on Asgard. You don't remember invading New York?" Strange asked in a gentler tone, now realizing the weight of what might've happened. Loki shook his head. "What day do you think it is?"
"May 5, 2011." Loki responded, swallowing hard.
"That's almost a year before the attack," Strange muttered under his breath. He then caught notice of Peters half wrapped arm. Stephen sighed, and with a touch of magic, it was fixed. Peter blushed.
"Sorry, I-I landed on my arm after web slinging off the empire sta-"
"That does not concern me," Though it did bother Strange that Peter had been hurt. "I just need you in your best condition to take care of Loki while I'm gone."
"Oh! Ok, that doesn't seem too..." Peter trailed off for a moment. "WAIT! Your leaving me here, defenseless, with him?!" Peter asked.
"Starks kid, again." Strange muttered. "Yes, and no. You will be bringing him to his room and taking care of him. No, you are not defenseless. You are an Avenger. Plus, I made sure he was harmless" Strange said, spelling Loki. And with that he left via portal. He would pick Stark up along the way. The whole adult team had a meeting in California with some officials. He also wanted to get there early to tell Thor, very gently to avoid a good smiting, about Loki.
"Stupid reindeer games gonna get me killed." Strange told himself. Then realized what he had said.
"Damn Stark."
