Peter told Loki about some of Spider-Mans adventures, which were so believable that Loki didn't think the kid could make them up on the spot, so he gave in and was convinced about Peters alias. He was telling Loki everything about himself, which, in retrospect, wasn't the smartest. But what could Peter say? He was excited that someone was actually listening to him, not just rushing through. As for Loki, he stayed more closed off. Though he wouldn't admit it, the god might have had some trust issues. But Loki enjoyed listening to what Peter had to say, and even fed him more questions. Usually simple things like, "where do you live?" "When did you meet Stark?" "You don't actually think reindeer games is a good nickname, do you?" and others. Then, Peter being Peter, had to put a "twist" on things.
"Do you know the game you truth or dare?" Peter asked with an incredibly evil yet adorable smile.
"No, but by the look on your face I don't think I want to know." Loki told Peter point blank, crossing his arms.
"Oh come ooooon! It's fun! Please please please!" Peter was begging. He knew he had superior adorableness, and often used this to his advantage. Peter had used this twice to get out of eating his carrots at aunt Mays place, but he ended up seeing them again at breakfast, so it was a fail. Though he could occasionally make groundings shorter when he used his self pity card mixed with some big, puppy dog eyes. Though Loki was a worthy opponent. He had the genius idea of turning his head so he wouldn't see Peters face. Loki remained strong, until Peter sighed. "Fine. No one ever wants to play my games anyway..." Loki gave Peter a quick glance, something he would soon regret. Peter added a twinkle to his eyes, with a longing glance at the sky, and a sniffle for good measure.
Loki rolled his eyes. "Fine." He said through gritted teeth.
"Yay!" Peter shouted, jumping into Loki's arms, who promptly dropped the boy. Peter looked up rubbing his head.
"But we stop if I don't like it." Loki demanded, brushing off his hospital shorts, which he hated. The color was so bland.
Peter accepted Loki's condition and started explaining how the game worked. "I say Truth or Dare. If you say Dare, then I give you a dare that you have to do, no matter how bad it is. If you say Truth, I ask you a question that you have to answer truthfully. Get it?" Peter asked. Loki nodded. "You go first." Peter ordered. "Ask me Truth or Dare?"
"Truth or Dare..." Loki obeyed, thinking about the rules.
"Dare! Ok now think of something you want me to do!" Peter instructed.
"Sing a song." Loki replied slowly, not quite sure what direction he was taking the game.
"This is me s-singing a s-song la la la de doe da. I can't sing. This is b-bad. How long does it have to go?" Peter said off pitch in random tunes. His cheeks were bright red.
"180." Loki told Peter, with an unamused face and monotone voice.
"180 what? Yeah yeah la de do da doe."
"179" Loki counted down. Peter continued with the random scat until it evolved into the "Renegade" song, and Peter started having a seizure. "What are you doing with your arms?" Loki asked, making a face.
"It's a dance." Peter said, out of breath. "From a video game. I don't know what it's called exactly, something about oranges and justice."
"Well whatever it is please stop. It's hurting my eyes tremendously. Your dare is over." Loki informed Peter, confused how what he was doing was a dance. Peter sat down with his legs crossed and a huge smile.
"My turn!" Peter shouted enthusiastically. "Ok ok Truth or Dare?!"
Loki considered what Peter had asked. Though he really didn't want to answer any questions, the dares Peter could come up with scared Loki. If he got a question he didn't like, Loki could just say he didn't remember, right? "Truth." Loki told Peter.
