Y'all look at this, I'm actually updating, I've been inspired. I also realize how long I've spent on one day, I promise it will get faster!

Peter felt bad. Even though he was lying to protect Loki, he knew it wasn't right. And when Peter feels bad about hurting someone, he makes it up to them, one way or another. So Peter spent a better half of the night researching Norse Mythology. Eventually, around 3 am, he went to sleep. Alas, he didn't get very much of it as he woke up at 7 am, which was very uncharacteristic. Perhaps it was nerves? But Peter was able to stumble out of bed and put on blue jeans and a red hoodie, along with an old spider man mask and left through the window. Oh don't worry about May. He left a note saying he was hanging with "friends", and yes Peter put the quotations there. He was so dead when he came back.

Peter swung until he couldn't anymore, and then ran the rest of the way to the compound. It's times like these where we question Peters intelligence, because after making it to the compound by himself, it was already 9:30 and Peter wanted to pass out. Part of how faster was going was he wanted to see how Loki was doing, part of it was he didn't want Aunt May to some how look out the window and spot Peter from miles away.

When Peter was finally in the compound, FRIDAY remarked, "your quite early, Peter. And quite out of breath. Is there a threat?"

Peter leaned against a wall. "No no, everything's fine."

"Good." She simply replied, and went quiet. There was a small smile forming on Peters face. God, he really loved this place. Because here everyone recognized that he could really do important things. Even if he was always know as "the kid" people knew that Peter could throw some punches. He was stronger here.

Peter took a few minutes, just laying against the wall to catch his breath. Then he walked down the hall to Loki's room. Peter stood in front of the door for a few minutes, before knocking, with no answer. So, Peter knocked again, and again, with no answer. What if he's asleep? Peter thought. And he was about to turn around and comeback later when he thought or what if he's in danger? Peters eyes widened. Oh no. So he opened the door, just a little, and saw Loki on the floor, eyes open. "NO SIR I SHOUD'VE STAYED BUT NOW YOUR DEEAAAD!"

Loki quickly jumped up. "What in the nine realms are you doing here?" Loki hissed. Now it was Peters turn to jump back, away from the door.

"W-Uh-your not dead?" Peter asked skeptically. Loki squinted his eyes and lifted his hands, shaking his head. "Oh, good!" And Peter ran forward, tightly hugging Loki, who pushed the spiderling away. "Why were you on the floor?" Peter asked. Loki kept his eyes on Peters chest, squinted just a little. "Please talk to me, I'm sorry about yesterday. I should've told you. But now I wanna make it up to you." Peter asked. Loki sighed.

"Fine. But don't come in here again unless I tell you you can." Loki stated. Peter nodded his head, again smiling. "So, why did you come here?"

"Well, I-I felt bad about yesterday, so I tried to learn about some Norse things to try and um," impress you Peter thought. "learn more about you. And the more I was reading the more concerned I became."

Loki narrowed his eyes. "What does that mean?"

Peter cleared his throat. "Did... did you give birth to a horse?"

Loki's face wasn't horrified or even disgusted, more surprised. "No? Why do you think that?"

Peter blushed. "Umm, well, see the book says that your turned into a girl horse and um, when a girl horse and a guy horse love each other very much, uh-"

"What does the book say?!" Loki hissed, now his face was turning shades of red.

"That you turned into a horse?"

Loki sighed. "No, no. I heard that. I never turned into a horse." Loki cringed at the last sentence. "There was," he cleared his throat. "A guy, and yes at the time I was female, but this guy wasn't a horse. Just slightly obsessed with them, and maybe I, ahem, liked him, and enjoyed his presence."

Peter gasped. "You just told me your crush!" The spiderling took Loki's look of confusion as a sign to explain. "Ya know, the person you kinda want to date... I mean, usually it takes a lot of begging to get that sort of info out of someone, sometimes it's even the plot of a movie, ooo! Like-"

"Quite spiderling." Loki shushed. "I only told you so you wouldn't think I was a horse. And besides, nothing else happened."

Peter looked confused again. "But then that whole story is completely off! Like, they built a wall or something because of giants, and um, more, uh, stuff."

"Do you really think everything in those books are true? Father would tell Thor and I about the 'myths' Midgardians would create. Quite a few of them are wrong."

Peters face lit up. "I have an idea! What if I ask you questions about some myths, and we play, like, a true or false type of game."

Loki considered this, before saying, "fine. But not for very long."

"What, do you have plans?" Peter jokingly asked. Loki rolled his eyes in return. Peter sat crisscross across from Loki, and asked a few questions. For the most part they all got straight forward answers. "Did you ever dress up like a bride to get Thor's hammer back?"

Loki thought about the question for awhile, then replied with, "No. But often we would play, 'dress up' games." He said, slightly cringing at past memories.

"Like what?" Peter asked, trying to smother a laugh.

"What do you think 'dress up' game means, spiderling?" Loki replied, his tone venomous. It shut the kid up for a little bit.

"Ok, ok. Sorry." Peter thought about what he should ask next. "Did you, by any chance have your mouth, er, sewn shut?" He said the last sentence slowly because Peter figured if the answer was yes, it would be a touchy subject. But Loki only laugh humorously.

"I've heard that before, yes. But no, it did not happen. Was merely an empty threat by my father." Loki hissed the last part.

Peter was slightly on edge due to the change in atmosphere. "Ok, well that was fun and all. I should probably go and, I have to-" Peter was trying to make up an event but when he saw Loki's amused face he realized he was trying to lie, to the god of lies. "Why dont we-" Peter was again interrupted, now by his phone. He sighed heavily, mildly frustrated, though Loki looked insanely confused by the ringing. "It's just my phone, I'll take it later." Peter said, and looked down and realized the call was from aunt May. "Nope better take it now!" He quickly changed his mind and ran to the bathroom for privacy.

When he pressed accept, the spiderling didn't need to turn speaker mode on to hear aunt Mays yelling. "Peter, where the hell are you?! I try to trust you doing your spider thing but when you say your out with 'friends' do you really expect me not to worry?!"

"May, May I'm fine, really! I'm at uh, a friends place! Really! I put the quotations, because, yoooouuuuu, haven't met him yet?" Peter said the last part as more of a question.

"Fine." May replied. "Why doesn't he come over though? I would love to meet him."

Trying to change the subject, Peter asked, "wow,  are you really just assuming his gender?" It was then Peter realized he had already used male pronouns.

"I want you over here. Now." May demanded. She wasn't taking any of Peters bullshit during the holiday break. Then she hung up the phone, and Peter knew he had fucked up.

The boy walked out of the bathroom, ever so cautiously. "Hey, Loki, sir, well not sir, just, I need a favor."

"No" the god of mischief replied simply.

"Please?"

Loki considered this, and realized all the trouble Peter probably went through for him last night. So, skeptically he replied "fine."

"Cool! You just have to pretend to be my friend and meet Aunt May."

Loki sighed. This was gonna be "fun"
