I ended up falling asleep and stayed overnight at the hospital. I ended up waking up with puffy red eyes and four missed calls. Three being from Sasuke while the other being from...Fugaku.

Someone who I am indebted to.

But I didn't bother calling either of them back.

By the time I woke up it was already ten in the morning and I left the hospital and ended up walking back home.

Standing outside the door, I pulled out my key from within my pocket and stuck it into the keyhole, but the door opened on its own and I jumped in surprise as I saw my husband standing on the other side of the door.

"What are you doing here?" I asked finding it surprising that he was here. I thought he would've been at work.

"Waiting for you. You didn't show up last night." He had his arms crossed over his chest and a stern expression on his face, but I walked past him and entered our home.

"I was visiting my father." I made my way upstairs into our room with Sasuke following behind me.

"You didn't answer my calls so how was I supposed to know."

"My phone was dying," I said to him over my shoulder as I rummaged through our closet and selected a (f/c) short sleeved shirt and a pair of navy blue shorts. I mean it wasn't a complete lie. My battery was at 10%.

"You just got back and you're going out again?" He asked slightly irritated with me and my behavior. He grabbed ahold of my arm to stop me from going into the bathroom and pulled me back to face him. The annoyance was clearly written on his face.

"Yes and?" I pulled my arm away and stood there with my arms crossed.

"My father wants to speak with you."

"What for?" Although I had an idea as to what it could be.

"I don't know, but he wants to speak with you soon."

I ran my hand through my long (h/c) hair and let out a sigh. "I'll go later." This was something I clearly wasn't looking forward to.

Noticing my dreadful expression, Sasuke took a step closer to me and placed a kiss on my forehead before hastily turning around.

"I have to go now. I'll see you tonight." He quickly said before walking out of the room and ultimately leaving our home to head to work.

'Another kiss?' I placed my hand on my forehead for a moment wondering if there was something wrong with him since this has been the third day that he's done so.

I shrugged it off and proceeded to go shower.

The sun was warming my (s/c) skin and the cool seawater reached just above my knees.

As I was lost in thought, a seaweed got caught around my leg. I reached down and untangled it from my leg and had the seaweed in my hand.

"Is seaweed considered the new trend or style for you girls," perked up the blonde as he stared at me holding a piece of seaweed. He stood a few feet away from me with the water only reaching his feet.

"I'm sure it would suit a clown like you." I snickered as I threw the seaweed at him which ended up smacking him in the face.

A tick mark appeared on his forehead as he removed the wet seaweed from his face. But not only because of that, but for calling him a clown knowing that I called him that since he mentioned being a prankster as a kid.

Two hours had gone by and the entire time, we were merely talking and joking around with each other. But we somehow ended up on the topic of my marriage and problems.
