I was seated on the opposite side of the desk from Fugaku who had a calm demeanor. I sat there masking my nerves by appearing stoic although my legs were shaking quite a bit.

"I'm assuming you already know why you're here."

'Of course it would be this conversation. I can't get out of it.'

"Yeah..." I glumly muttered.

"As you know, you're already twenty two and going to turn twenty three within a few months which means you need to provide a child by then."

"Can't we extend it or something?" I asked although unsure of whether he would agree or not.

"This isn't one of your college assignments that you can save until the last minute, (Y/n). As I've said before, it's for the sake of the corporation and there will be less birth complications for you," he firmly said.

I tried negotiating with him but he turned me down every time. And as I opened my mouth about to say something else, he gave me a knowing look and I stayed quiet. I signed up for this and I couldn't back out especially after all that he's done. I mean he's helped me with our financial situation and is paying for the hospital expenses. Providing the Uchiha's with a child was the only way to repay them.

"I understand...I'll get to work on it." I sadly mumbled, not ready to become a parent and he gave me a nod.

"Good. Now another thing..." Both his face and voice grew even more serious and I raised my brow as to what else he could possibly want to talk about.

"Care to explain this?" He asked while placing a photo on his desk and slid it towards me.

On the photo were two people but as I looked closely, my eyes grew wide as I recognized myself and the blonde haired man who I spent time with at the beach. But our faces were inches apart from each other which gave off the wrong impression almost appearing as if we were about to kiss. I lifted my head up and was met with Fugaku staring right at me., waiting for an explanation.

"I-where...how did you get this?" I stuttered out.

"That isn't important. What's important is knowing who this man is and what your relationship with him is. Why do you two look so intimate?"

"He's....a friend. And we weren't being intimate. He just caught me by surprise that's all."

"Name?" Fugaku immediately asked.

"I...can't say," I said as I lowered my head.

"Why not? I want his name or-"

"I'm telling you I can't!"

'It's not that I can't say his name because I don't want to get him in trouble, but I can't say his name because I don't even know the guy's name!' I internally screamed before lifting my head back up.

Fugaku remained silent for a few second, pondering about something before speaking. "Refrain from being around that boy. Forget about him. I don't want someone seeing and assuming you're having an affair. It will tarnish our image."

"Like how you assumed of Shisui and I?" I retorted back at him with a glare.

"Yes...now, don't be doing anything stupid. This is a warning."

I clenched my shaking fists and felt a bubbling anger begin to rise. "He's a friend! Who are you to decide who I can and can't be around! I'm not doing anything except hanging out with someone. Is that so wrong?! Is it wrong for a man and woman to hang out together?!"

He slammed his hand down on the desk which made me jump in my seat.

"I'm someone who you owe a debt to. After all Mikoto and I have done for you, this is the least you could do. Actions have consequences, so think wisely about what you'll do from now on."

I glared at him before standing up and walking away from him. I wasn't going to listen to him. Like hell I will. That young, blonde haired man was someone who has insistently stayed everyday with me at the beach and I've grown accustomed to him in those few days. For Shisui and now him. No, I wasn't going to let him control me.

As I shut the door and left, Fugaku sighed and grabbed the picture once more and held it up in front of him. He stared at it before squinting his eyes and his eyes began to widen as he started to recognize the blonde haired man.

'So it's his son huh. Well, let's see what happens.'
