Once we were close enough, we hid. I immediately sent a couple of clones to scout ahead in case anything would interfere with our plans.

Not long after, they dispersed allowing me to see that Deidara is patrolling ahead. I turned my head up causing the others to see him too.

"Great, just great. Now what?" Jiraya complained.

"I did put into account that he would be here. From the bingo book Itachi got off of Zabuza, we know he uses explosions. He is a distance fighter who uses a combination of earth and fire. He also plans as he goes. By any chance, anyone here know any distance based lightning attacks?" I questioned.

Itachi spoke up saying he has a few. "I bet if we were to hit his bombs with it, they would become duds. I mean it's only a theory, but they can't explode without the earth element but it's all we got. You don't mind testing that do you?" He shook his head.

I nodded and mumbled a quick, "good." Then I spoke a little louder. "Then the rest is the same. Let's go."

And so we went to our next hiding spot to maneuver around guards taking some out here And there before hiding them behind big rocks so they weren't found. We continued like this while staying hidden from Deidara and out of sight. We had made sure that the bodies were covered in genjutsu so they wouldn't be found by normal means.

At one point, we his behind some cover only to realize we won't be going in unnoticed anymore than we already are. Deidara was flying back towards us with haste. Hinata activated her byakugan saying he looks confused. Okay, so he is onto us, that's okay.

I took a deep breath in to try and call my raging heart and stop my hands from shaking due to shot nerves.

I gave the signal for the plan to start and they were off. As they began fighting my squad and I waited until a good portion of them indeed fell for the diversion. Even Deidara did as he flew to help. Which was excellent on our part. I'm still worried that I haven't seen their jinchuriki as of yet, and my team could tell this worried me as we continued heading to their kage building.

Maneuvering around buildings to stay out of sight, we took about teen minutes to reach the tower where we could see guards on high alert.

My clones had counted about fifteen Anbu at first that surrounded the tower and due to them reacting to Tsunade and the others, about half should be remaining. I pulled out the katanas that were strapped to my back after sending eight clones to assassinate the other members and his them enough as to not rise anymore suspicion. We had entered through a window easily sneaking into the office on light feet. There were no traps that needed to be deactivated so there was no need to worry about that.

It was dark, but with Kurama's help, I had my heat vision activated while Hinata had her Byakugan activated. Shino used his bugs to help him navigate. We searched the entire office getting all important documents pertaining to the war including battle formations, schedules, reinforcements and documents that pertained to another party being involved. I immediately thought the Akatsuki so I grabbed that too.

After putting the documents in a sealing scroll I made, and handing it to Shino to put in his pouch, we exited through the door.

We also checked other rooms in the building, just to be on the safe side for any other important information that could help us out in the war. We had separated to clear the building. I had made a few clones to help speed up the search.

After a bit, I entered a room and could instantly tell something was off. The air was tense, and there was this chakra signature that lingered. It felt dark, and so I took a few sniffs to find it smelled lonely.
