The village turned into a just a spec in the distance before disappearing from view completely. Ever since we had left the village walls I wondered whether I made the right choice or not... Ah who care the past is the past, right?
Pav sighed from where she was sitting opposite me on a large wooden box "Sometimes this world is too prejudiced". It doesn't take Einstein to work out she was talking about Tyson. I know how she is feeling. How does that saying go? Been there, Done that, Got the t-shirt?
Tyson reminds me of this one guy well one general viewpoint if i'm honest. Everyone hated me because I had rich parents unlike Pav who Tyson hated for some reason. He brought back memorys I thought I buried years ago.

***** Flashback *****
.
"Kenna.... Come on out" Amy was trying to coax me out of the toilet stall.
The 15 year old me refused "No... Did you see what just happened? He hates me..."
"Did Charlie ever say he hated you?" She reasoned
"Well... No but....
"No but's Missy, just get out here" I could just imagine her standing on the other-side of the door. Her strawberry blonde hair tied up in it's signature ponytail and her perfectly painted red nails carefully placed on her hips.
"Amy!" I whined "Don't make me go out there when HE is gonna be there"
"Either you come out voluntarily or I come in there" She warned
I sighed "Fine..." Slowly I unlocked the door and stepped out. We were alone in the bathroom, everyone else was in lessons.
"Good" Amy stood there smirking at me "Did you know I'm missing Loopy for you?"
"You should go then"
"Nah, you're more important than one of old Loopy's lessons" She linked her arm with mine and much to my dismay pulled me to the door. I caught myself in the mirror before we left. Long red hair, large amber eyes, cute button nose. I looked okay... so why did I feel so ugly? "Come on Kenna we can skip this period"
I nodded unable to speak as we walked into the canteen. The canteen was practically empty only a few students sat at the tables. "OI! Ginger!" A familiar male voice shouted.
"Leave her alone" Amy protectively stepped in front of me.
Joe, one of Charlie's friends stepped nearer "Ooh gettin' your little buddies to protect you now? Oh wait you're just payin' them. No one would like you if you weren't so rich"
"I said leave her alone" Amy growled
"Shut it blondie! I'm talking to the rich cow" He slipped his hands into his jean pockets.
"Just 'cause your family..." She started but Joe quickly cut in
"Don't you dare speak about my family like that"
Amy pouted slightly "Too late"
"Just stay out of it Blondie, I was talkin' to the..." Before he could finish the sentence, I pushed past Amy and my fist connected with his face. Looking down at my hand, covered in his blood I started crying. The hot tears washed away some of the crimson blood. Could this day get any worse?

*****Flashback Ends*****
.
"That's one thing our worlds have in common"
Pav smiled slightly "Tell me about it"
"It's funny isn't it?" She looked at me, her brown eyes bright with curiosity "How two completely different worlds are so similar"
She chuckled slightly "That's the beauty of the universe"
"It's weird... I never considered there to be another planet so full of life. I thought Earth was the only one"
"Why did you decide to come? Yesterday you were all set to go home" Pav choose her words carefully knowing she was stepping into personal territory.
Did I want to tell her? To be honest no. Yet I wanted someone to confide in so I told her everything. Well not quite everything. "I... I guess I just... I have nothing waiting for me back at home. No parents. No friends. Nothing."
"Nothing" She repeated "But you have your mother"
"She was never there for me when I was younger. Her and my father... It was always work above their children."
"What about friends?" She asked "You were talking in your sleep about Jade? and Ollie?"
I blushed. Did she really hear me talking in my sleep about them? "I don't want to talk about them... It's complicated" In truth I had realised something. Jade was never my true friend. Where was she when I was hiding in the bathroom? Swapping bodily fluids with Charlie, that's where. I can't believe I fell for all her lies.
"Okay" She sighed "You know Moanna has asked your mother to meet us at the Merai Tribe?"
"Sort of"
"Well did you know the Silmur Tribe, the place we are going to, is the home of The Grand Elder?"
"No? Tell me about him" She started to explain to me about how the Elder system worked. Me? I was just glad that we weren't talking about Home anymore.
Pav was actually great company, in a place where I was so alone. She kept my mind preoccupied and away from my broken life. Maybe just maybe, I had found a new friend.
After a few hours the wagon came to a halt. We were in some woods that we had been traveling in for some time. "Out!" Tyson commanded. He ignored Pav as she jumped out and offered his hand to help me out. Just as he had ignored Pav, I ignored him.
"What's happening?" I asked smiling slightly at Tyson who was looking dumbfounded.
"The horses need to rest and we need to eat" Leith explained jumping down from his position in the drivers seat.
"I see..."
"Pav... We need to talk" Leith said grabbing her by her arm gently. They walked off leaving me and Tyson alone. He rocked back on his heels awkwardly before clearing his throat.
"Well Miss..."
"It's Kenna" I snapped at him. Anger pulsed through my veins. My hatred, guilt and confusion helped my anger grow out of control. It was about to explode.
"Ummm well Kenna, are you hungry?"
"Just Pineapple Off Jerk!" I shouted at him.
If looks could kill I would have died on the spot. He had no idea why I was upset with him, as far as he was concerned he had done nothing wrong "And what have I done to deserve this?"
I sank to the ground, my legs seemingly losing the ability to stand "Just leave me alone". When I noticed him still standing there I screamed. Why couldn't he just get the message....
