Two weeks. Two glorious weeks living like Queens. What ever we wanted we got, the latest gadgets, the prettiest clothes, the best food. It made me wonder why Pav left in the first place.
Pav brought me to the village that goes by the name of Cate's Town, know for it's founder Cate. Cate was a guy in his 60's but had the spirit of a 16 year old and luckily for us he welcomed us with open arms. Under his guidance I was growing stronger, I could make my hand to burst into flames and extinguish them at will. Cate was a great teacher. Yet despite our new lifestyle Pav was becoming more and more depressed as the days came and went. I'm sure it was the thought of Leith that was dragging her down. Even though he wasn't here in person he still had a strong presence in our consciousness.
I clung to whoever brought news of the outside world in hopes of hearing about Leith. As much as I tried I could not forget the way his blonde hair danced in the wind. The latest traveler brought news that he had safely arrived at the Silmur Tribe and that he was due to get married sometime next week. The latter made Pav sink even deeper into the hole of depression and for some reason the fact that he had moved on so quickly without us depressed me.
"Again" Cate shouted waving his bamboo cane around in the air like a mad man. Instead of doing as he said, I threw the sword I was suppose to be covering with flames down onto the dusty ground. That was another thing. The leaves were slowly turning a dull shade of brown and the solid ground was transforming into a unstable dust.
"I can't" I told him earning me a sharp tap with his cane.
"I said Again!"
I put my foot down stubbornly "No".
It was a stupid mistake as he tapped me again. "Again Kenna". Luckily I was saved the bell. Literally. In Cate's Town we had a warning system to alert us of incoming visitors. It was a simple but effective bell. Cate sighed "Fine... We will try again later"
Having a visitor was a big deal because in this place there were wielders of every element so they survived depending on each other and not the other tribes. Everyone gathers in the street to welcome the arrival.
This time the arrival came in the form of an older guy, probably in his mid-40's and Amy... The same Amy that disappeared years ago... My best friend Amy... There was a flicker of recognition in her big blue eyes but she walked on silently. It was then that the loss hit me. When she had just disappeared I was worried but there was always hope that she would come back. I wasn't ready for a goodbye, and now she's back It's weird. She's changed and I have to accept that the Amy I wanted back has gone. It was tough but I had to move on.
They walked on further into the village towards the marketplace. "Kenna" Pav said coming up from behind me "You know who he is?"
I shook my head "Nope"
"Ex-Elder Xavier of the Ternec Tribe"
"The tribe that controls Air right?"
"Yeah" Pav steered be closer to the stage that everyone was gathering around "He had an affair with a woman from the Highdent tribe, that girl is the result"
It dawned on me. Amy must have came to Earth so she was protected from the hatred her father had caused. It all made sense. "So what's he doing here?"
Pav shrugged "Guess we are about to find out"

Amy's POV
.
Kenna knows I'm here... for some reason that made me upset. Everyone knew Inru was dying and if she was here it meant we were nearing our final days. I guess that's what makes my father's cause just even if I hate myself for helping... even if he was forcing me to. My father was a rebel leader unhappy with the way Inru was separated. He thinks that it is because this that Inru is dying.
The rebels are desperate, clinging onto their lives with all their worth. They don't realise that I've been spying and have found a valuable bit of information though I'm not telling... not when this information can cause wars...
"Citizens of Inru, we have news" My father called out to the crowd. "The guardian Leith's marriage has been canceled" Lies... All lies however the news had the desired effect and many gasps were taken. The blonde haired girl next to Kenna looked ecstatic. "They are taking away a time of happiness all because of the Guardian Leith. He loves a girl that is among the crowd here today. A girl called Kenna has won the heart of our only saviour" Everyone turned and glared at her. I couldn't speak out... especially because of my mother.
"What should we do?" A lone male voice called out. It was then that my father realised the crowd was putty in his hands. Take away someones hope and they follow whoever has an alternative. Sad, really.
"They have taken our happiness, so we must take Guardian's Leith's happiness". Two hands grabbed Kenna. I watched as she struggled against the strong hands that held her captive. I watched as her blonde friend beat at the hands trying to help her. I helplessly watched them lead her away. It was her or my mother... A hard choice but I made it long ago...

Kenna's POV
.
Amy just stood there! She could have stopped them. Now I'm going to rot in this stupid jail. I can't believe her... after everything she went through. She left us when she knew we cared about her... but isn't that what I did to my parents? No. They don't care about me. It's all work, work, work.
"Long time no see" A female voice said from the darkness.
"Amy.. What are you doing here?" She let out a breathy chuckle.
My best friend stepped out of the shadows "I came to talk to you stupid"
"No... Why are you here... on Inru"
"I could say the same for you" She replied.
"You know you could have said goodbye" I told her.
"Yeah but would you have believed me if I told you I was leaving to some other universe?"
I shrugged "I guess not."
She laughed "Still friends with Jade?"
"Ish"
Her blonde eyebrow flew up "What do you mean by ish?"
"Let's just say... If I ever go home then, I won't be" I explained.
Amy sighed "And why not?"
"It's hard to explain" I stepped towards the bars that held me captive "I started dating Ollie about six months ago... The whole time... She was making an advance on him..."
"That Cow!" Amy's blue eyes lit up with anger.
"She did it with Charlie, that day I told him I liked him" My fists clenched involuntarily.
Amy gasped "No way..."
"Yes way" I nodded solemnly "I realised it when I came here. How Charlie gave her flirtatious glances for weeks after and how she flirted with Ollie. I was happy that they were getting on..."
She reached through the bars "Don't worry about her, think about the present."
"At the present time, I'm stuck in prison" I grumbled
"Yeah but I'm here. That must count for something" She said causing us both to burst into laughter. You wouldn't get the reference but them nine words held a significant meaning to us. When we both had recovered she spoke again. "I need to go my father will be looking for me"
"Okay then..."
"I'll see you later, 'kay?" And with that she left my life again...
