Chapter 6

(Excalibur PoV)

I woke up the Next day with Marius knocking on my door. "Hey Excalibur. You up?" he asked, I quickly got my mask and gear on and opened the door. "I am now, What's up?" I asked. "It's recruit training day. Six has personally asked you to train some in CQC." He explained. I sighed before grabbing my Katana.

I walked out and saw some very angered and saddened Operators. I guess they dislike this as well. "Right Operators. You will be training the recruits in specific fields. Ash, Thatcher, Kaid, Montagne and Death. You are on Tactics. Excalibur, Fuze, Tachanka, Anubis and Zofia, you are on CQC." Once I heard this I walked off towards the recruits that need to train in CQC. The other 4 joined me and I stared at them. "Do we actually have to do this?" Shannon asked, "Unfortunately yeah, we do." Alexandr replied.

We took the recruits towards a set of rings outside. "So do we show them how to CQC first or do we just constantly beat the shit out of them?" I whispered to Shuhrat, "We show them first. Then we beat the shot out of them." He answered with a chuckle. I laughed a bit before 10 recruits ran up in front of us.

"Are you the operators training us today?" one of them asked, "Ya, now get ready. We need to see how much hope we have." Shannon said. The Recruits jumped into the Rings and got into their various stances. They started fighting one ring at a time. and they were all hopeless. I sighed before signalling Shannon into the ring. The two panting recruits got out and the others gathered around.

"Now focus on how these two fight, watch every detail before going off towards your own Rings and try again." Zofia Ordered, she was like an actual teacher.

We handed our Katanas to Shuhrat, who kept them safe for us. We then did a little bow before getting into our stances. We knew each-others fighting style off by heart and know how to counter them. So this fight may take a while.

Shannon came towards me, doing a quick jab to the right before sending a kick to my left. I blocked the jab and grabbed her leg, spinning her around. she used this towards her advantage how ever and used the momentum I gave her to kick me in the side of the head. This stunned me a bit and I regained my senses when I saw a heavy uppercut heading my way, I dodged it and sent my own punched back. Three heavy ones. She stumbled a bit. But this is when she got faster.

So I got faster. Time started to slow again and I could see the rain dropping extremely slowly, but Shannon's movements were at a normal pace, and so were mine. We stayed like this for a while, blocking each other easily. When we heard Zofia asked us to stop. Time started going back to normal and we stopped, giving each other a quick bow before grabbing our Katanas.

The recruits were bewildered, and so were the other three operators. "You both were a blur for half of that." Alexandr stated, the recruits nodded in agreement. "Got caught in the moment, sorry." I responded, "How?" a few recruits asked at the same time, I simply said "Augments and Training, and very hard training at that."

(Time Skip)

I was watching the recruits train, they had gotten better from the beginning. But they weren't good enough. "Should we get Teshin?" I Whispered, Shannon looked at me, "You think he would help?" she asked in a whisper, "Yeah, we are going against the White masks. Which means we are helping innocents." I stated, also in a whisper.

She sighed, "We could ask six." "that we could Shannon." I said back, then I shouted Shuhrat over, he came over to us after sorting out two of the recruits. One of them pulled a knife on the other which Shuhrat disarmed him.

"What do you need comrade?" he asked, "We are off to see Six to get a CQC trainer, the one that trained us." Shannon said, he nodded, "I am slightly scared about that but go for it." He answered, before walking back to his recruits. Now both of them had a knife and were almost killing each other.

We walked over to Six's office and told her about the Plan, she nodded before allowing us to leave, we asked for Marius but he was training some recruits to fly so we could take one other person, which she chose Shuhrat.

We walked over to the Airfield and saw Shuhrat waiting for us consoling Marius. Who was staring at a burning helicopter.

"It didn't even leave the ground. They stepped on it and it engulfed in flames." He said to Shuhrat. I saw 20 recruits trying to put the fire out, before the maintenance came out and did it for them.

"How many recruits did you have?" I asked him, "10, they doubled when Ghost came over. He is resisting the urge to strangle them. His eyes started glowing Red a bit which frightened them all. Before he walked away to 'Grab something'." Marius answered.

"He is grabbing Delta. You can tell." Shuhrat responded, "Well good luck, we are off to grab someone." I said, stepping into the stealth chopper. The recruits surrounded the chopper. "This the new chopper we training with?" Shannon laughed, "You wish." Before she got on and started it on, then it turning invisible which made the recruits stand back a bit. Marius waved us off before we flew off. Over to where Teshin is hiding.
