Chapter 4

(Excalibur PoV)

We had just arrived back at Hereford. With a few operators staring at us land before walking off. We walked directly to my Dorm. With Shannon offering to help, I said no, because I had to do it myself. It had been something I was supposed to do as soon as I got out. but I didn't.

I walked into my Dorm and noticed Marius and Elena there on the couch. I suppose if Marius trust her I can. "Hey, you two. Can I speak to you for a moment?" I asked in a timid voice, I was really fucking nervous saying this. And they could tell. They signalled to a seat off to the side, I sat down. Wondering where to start. This shit isn't easy.

"Firstly, I believe saying my name would a first start. And I trust you Marius because.........I had trusted you all those years ago." I started, they both looked curious as they stared at me. "My name is Megan. Megan Streicher." As soon as I said this Marius looked a bit sad, but soon turned angry, "What kind of Sick joke is this?" he asked, Elena held her hand up to him before he could go any further, I took my helmet off then stopped a bit before the balaclava. I sighed before showing my face, one I hadn't shown anyone since I was kidnapped.

Marius just went wide eyed. And Elena smiled. "I know how hard this is, I was hidden from my sisters for many years, seeing them here almost fucked me over." She chuckled, I smiled back. But I could see Marius just staring. "Where have you been?" he asked.

"That day I said I would come home with a bunch of friends, all of us were kidnapped. ten years later I managed to escape, along with Anubis. They were trying to turn us into obedient assassins. They almost succeeded with me and Anubis when our trainer broke out of the Brainwash and freed us. Allowing us to escape along side him. He went into hiding and me and Anubis went to start a PMC, to help innocents. But it was a cover to track down that Organisation who did this to us. That PMC still has its original Goals but I saw how much it was helping innocents and decided mine and Anubis's goals were quite selfish for an entire PMC to go after. So we 'Left'. We still own the PMC but we really run it from the side lines now." I explained.

He started hugging me. We stayed there for a bit till I started crying into his shoulder. Elena joined in on the hug. We sat back down and Marius smiled to me, "I'm glad you've come back to us. But why did you hide at the start?" he asked, "I....I don't know. I couldn't live with my own failure." I explained, He looked perplexed a bit but I could see it was a question he wold ask later, after this.

"Well, I might as well introduce Elena to you fully. This is Elena Bosak, the third Bosak sister. And my fiancé." He said, I shook her hand. "It's nice to see the person my Brother loves." I said. We sat down talking about our pasts, I held back what happened in the 10-year period.

That's when Marius started to go a bit sad, "Megan.....There is something I need to tell you." I knew what was coming, Elena held his hand, "Our little brother, Helios, was-" I cut him off, "Killed, I know. I was just a few seconds from fucking saving him." I said, holding back my tears. "That was the failure I was talking about. If only I was a bit faster." I started, and Shannon knocked on the door, I quickly got my balaclava back on and she entered.

"Megan, if I have to tell you one more fucking time that it wasn't your fault. The PMC got the information 10 minutes before it happened. We did all we could. We sent the information to the GSG9, local police, the German fucking army. That is all we could have done. And to show that we managed to get across from the other side of the country in 10 minuets and set up a sniper to attempt to save him means we did 10x more than all three f those other organisations did. Stop blaming yourself. It isn't your fault Megan. You did all you could."

"Sha- Anubis I could have done more. If I had only been fucking faster." I started, "You tore a fucking ligament in your leg from moving too fast. You had torn three muscles in your legs from moving too fast. You did all you could. Now stop fucking blaming yourself." She said, "And they can know my name." She said, "By the way it's Shannon."
