Chapter12

(Excalibur PoV)

I had woken up next to Shuhrat, remembering what had happened last night. I looked up to see that Shuhrat had just woken up, and was smiling at me, "You up too?" he asked, "Yeah, just." I responded with a little yawn. I got out of bed and quickly got dressed, noticing Shuhrat was averting his gaze, he is a proper gentleman.

"I don't mind if you look Shuhrat." I responded with a slight chuckle, before going towards the Kitchen to make some coffee, I asked Shuhrat if he wanted anything and he said yes, so I was making 2 Coffees. That's when we got a knock on the door. I opened it to a Marius and Elena, they had come around since it was 11 AM. I had no clue it was that late.

Shuhrat Welcomed them both as I got out 2 more cups. Now I was making 4 coffees. Fuck my life. We sat down and started talking, Marius had a little hangover. Which I found funny. I didn't drink too much last night and neither did Shuhrat, because we had to be responsible for a cybernetically advance human with alcohol in their system....and Marius.

"So did you two sleep ok las night?" Marius asked drinking a bit of his coffee, I looked at Shuhrat than back at then, "I did yeah, it was quite good." I responded, Elena got the gesture and smiled. "So you two together now?" she asked, I looked at him and he responded, "Yeah, we are." He said as I cuddled closer to him.

Marius finally got what was going on and looked at Shuhrat, "You hurt her and I will get Bandit to spike every shot of Vodka you take." He said with a little chuckle, Shuhrat laughed, "Yeah The vodka will taste better that way anyway."

After our morning we decided to head out for Lunch, it was only a small shop nearby, I remember it being there before I got kidnapped. we was chilling when my phone buzzed, I looked at it and it was a text from Six, saying that there is a war happening in Russia. Started by the White masks.

"Umm, guys. There's a war in Russia." I said to the table staring at my phone, they looked up looking serious. "Sentinel has been called in to help but Rainbow is wanted to help out too." I said, Marius stood up. "Well then, to the chopper we go." He said, paying the Bill before we all left to the Car.

(Time Skip)

We landed on a Sentinel owned carrier that we got from Britain. We saw that Six was waiting on Deck with a bunch of other operators. "Right team we need to stop this insurrection as fast as possible, before more structural damage is created. We nodded and Tachanka jumped onto our Chopper after we grabbed our stuff.

"There is a sentinel staging ground, we are heading there to get the low down of what we are needed for." Tachanka said and Marius set off.

(Time Skip.)

We had landed at the Sentinel staging ground, it was the boarder of Moscow. We landed and saw the Spetsnaz all hail Tachanka as he stepped off, before walking straight to the field commander here. "You asked for back up?" Tachanka asked, the commander nodded, "We need help pushing the White Mask forces out of Moscow, they attacked here first knowing that it would be the best place for us to surrender, although they didn't count that we were already waiting for them." The commander explained, I stayed silent, trying to look at the table and soak in any information, that's when I saw a person wearing a White mask but black armour start shredding into the compound. He had a standard sword, nothing as elegant as a Katana. But he was bullet proof.

I pulled out my Katana and started my attack, he managed to block it with incredible speed, and power. He is augmented. Not as augmented as me though. I sped up and I saw he was struggling to keep up. that is when time slowed and he was going slower than me. I smiled as I quickly ducked under his sword and swung at the unprotected part of his wrist, completely severing it. I then took one final blow to his neck chopping his head clean off. Time started to resume at a normal pace and I looked at the White Mask.

The commander walked up to me and thanked me for saving his men, I was just staring at him, "Augmented." I said, the team looked confused, "Come again?" Alexandr asked.

"Augmented, like me and Anubis, but not as powerful as me or Anubis. Shadow have been busy making easy profit by the looks of it. they can easily go against un augmented humans but as soon as they come across someone more augmented they are fucked. Their training is pretty shit too, not as lethal as Teshin's. they got no defensive training under their belt and few offensive training. Well that one did anyway." I explained, the crew looked at each other, "We will be fighting them?" the commander asked.

"I don't know, that could have just been an assassin sent to kill you. Do you have spare amour piercing rounds?" I asked, he nodded, "Good, load them up and get ready for more, if this one doesn't report back then there is a chance they will send more." I responded. "Basically get ready, because he could have been the weakest."

After we had a plan we started our counter-attack on their base, Sentinel and the Spetsnaz create a distraction at the front whilst my team goes in through the back and takes the commander out. easy, simple. Or so we thought.

We had entered the compound under the distraction, with most White masks running to the front to protect their base, although the leader had stayed in his room, protected by three of those bullet proof White Masks.

We walked in and saw them, he was waiting. They had unsheathed their swords and my team started firing, I rushed up with my Katana attacking the middle of the three Swordsmen. Quickly attacking him, he was better trained than the one I fought back at the Spetsnaz base. but not better then me. Time slowed down and had the bottom half of his leg off then his hands. I then attacked the one on my right from behind. Literally stabbing him through the heart. The final one went defensive against me. I told the others to take the leader whilst I take the Last one, Shuhrat stayed with me but the other 3 ran off after the leader.

This fight was hard. Very hard. He wasn't faster than me although he had better training. During the fight I managed to knock his mask off and Shuhrat had a shocked face, I noticed this and changed it from kill to knock out. I sheathed the Katana, making this fight a bit harder, and decided to only use my hands. The White Masks chuckled at my action before rushing me. I managed to dodge his sword and disarm him. Throwing the sword out of the equation. The mask looked pissed but I saw him control his breathing, he was disciplined well, Teshin would like him. However it now became a Fist fight. Or it would have been if Shuhrat didn't sneak up behind him getting him in a choke hold, he lifted the person up a bit so they weren't touching the ground. Soon the person was passed out and I tied them up whilst Shuhrat picked up the sword. Before sheathing it and picking up the White Mask. We moved towards where our team was and we had captured the White Mask leader. And our Distraction had actually killed all the White masks in the base.

We had transferred back to the Carrier and Shuhrat looked quite sad. "What's wrong Shuhrat?" I asked, "Him." He said pointing at the White mask he knocked out, "Remember the brother that has been MIA, it's him." I looked shocked and knew how to help him. "We need to get back to Teshin, he can help." I said, Quickly telling Six and the others. We jumped onto a Sentinel chopper and the pilot took us back to Origins Base.
