Life of a Shinobi

*Masami POV*

Thanks to Naruto we’re all stuck in the mirrors dodging senbon. In my cases flying and Dodging senbon.

Some point during this battle Sasuke gained the Sharingan and was now looking at all the weak oints in the jutsu.

“Sasuke, the only way to break this jutsu is…”

“FIREBALL JUSTU!” he screamed shooting flames at the mirror. The mirror didn’t melt or even drip.

“Your fire won’t be enough to melt this ice.” Haku and I said in sync.

I sighed. “Sasuke listen this jutsu isn’t a teleportation based jutsu. It’s a Kekkei Genkai he is using the mirrors and his speed to make it seem as though he is using teleportation. You got to slow him down.” I told him.

He seemed to get it and was pondering the idea.

“Shadow Clone jutsu!”

“NARUTO NO!” I screamed at him but it was too late one by one Naruto and his clones was taken out. Once again we was pelted by senbon.

I looked at Naruto and Sasuke taking the hits. They looked the same as me except my wings are filled with senbon. So I had to revert back to my original form because my chakra was close to 0.

“Naruto use that jutsu again.”

“Okay!’

I watched as Sasuke timed the jutsu just right and kicked up water that made Haku’s movement visible.

They repeated this a few times except on the last time Sasuke use a fireball to burn Haku kimono.

Naruto was almost out of Chakra when Haku aimed senbon at him as he tried to make a run for it. I quickly reverted into stage 3 to protect him but Sasuke jumped in front of him and took the hit for him.

“SASUKE!” Naruto and I yelled and ran to his side.

“W-Why did you jump in and saved me!” Naruto asked

Sasuke gave him that Uchiha smirk, “My brother... he’s…. still out there.” He started. “I always promised myself I wouldn’t die till he did.”

“Sasuke shutup! You’re not going to did no one will!” I yelled with tears threatening to spill.

“Naruto stay alive to see your dream…And Masami.”

I looked at him as he moved his hand towards mine. “I love yo—“was all he got out before he stopped breathing completely.

“Sasuke?” I shook him a bit, “Sasuke please open your eyes! NOOOOOOO DON’T LEAVE ME!” I cried

I didn’t care how weak I looked. I didn’t care I cried in front of an enemy. I just didn’t care. At that moment I realized that I loved Sasuke. Now he’s gone.

I laid him on my lap and started to hum through my tears.

All the memories came back of our first meeting and everything.

‘Itachi failed you, and myself’ is all I could think.

I felt when the nine tailed fox chakra spiked but I didn’t care.

Something in me clicked and I felt butterflies surrounding me. And I felt my eyes change. Could this be stage 4?

I felt the tattoo on my stomach sting a little and I looked down to see it had grown bigger and the wings changed colors again meaning that I had unlocked the 4th stage.

I focused my chakra into my hands and placed them on Sasuke and they emitted a blinding purple-blue light and I felt my chakra course through him.

When I tuned back into my surrounding I had realized that I heard the Chidori and Haku telling Naruto he had one last thing to do,

“NOOOO!” I screamed transporting in front of the Chidori before it hit Haku or Zabuza.

I was hit by the Chidori straight through my stomach.

“D-daddy this isn’t your fault I chose to protect those I love.”

*Third Person POV*

Everything was silent on the bridge. NO one breathe or spoke. Kakashi looked at what he had done.

He killed his only daughter and child. He failed her as a father. He felt alone.  He had a flash back of Rin on this same hand in the same situation.

“MASAMI!” 5 voices ranged out clear. Zabuza, Haku, Naruto, Saukra, Tazuna and a newly awoken Sasuke all stared at the now dead snow-headed girl.

“She led the true life of a shinobi.” Is all Zabuza could say.

Haku cried at the sight of his sister lifeless body in her father’s arms.

Even Sasuke cried. The battle was frozen until clapping was heard.

*SOMEWHERE ELSE*

*Mystery POV*

As we looked out on the bridge at the scene I just witnessed my sister get killed and my pupil.

I couldn’t believe the sight of it. She jumped in front of the Chidori to save someone else’s life giving up her own.

“Let’s go someone got to tell Leader-sama that his daughter is now an angel. Even Samehada is weeping.” My partner said

I couldn’t budge from the spot I had to force myself to go I let one lone tear fall down my cheek.
