Finally home from the hospital with Kyndall. She was running a fever and trying to get through clinicals with a sick baby was rough. I kept thinking of my run in with Symone. I hate that woman. Too late to have a woman to woman conversation now.

I was gathering my books and laptop to finish some homework when I received a text message from an unknown number.

715-312-8967: Morning gorgeous, how's the little one?

Imani: Who is this?

715-312-8967: Your husband.

Imani: How did you get my number?

715-312-8967: Can I please see you and Kyndall. I haven't seen my daughter in weeks.

I dont know why I agreed to see him but I did. My mom is going to kill me but Kyn deserves to see her dad.

Imani: 1209 Praire Mills Rd. Apt 46

715-312-8967: Thanks, I'll be there. I love you Imani.

I didn't respond back to the last message. The fact he has the audacity to say that is hysterical. I'm regretting giving him my address. I guess I wanted to show him that I'm making it without him and i haven't even received alimony....yet.

2:45 p.m.
Kyndall is up from her nap and in her swing watching sprout channel and I decided to bake some cupcakes since my mom always ask did I bake anything when she comes over and I let her down everytime. The doorbell rung and I knew it was Drew.

I opened the door and there he stood with a bouquet of sunflowers, my favorites.

"Thanks, Drew" I replied to him handing me the bouquet

"Thanks, Drew" I replied to him handing me the bouquet.

"I just thought I'd brighten your day" he responded.

I went to get Kyndall so he can bond with her while I finish icing the cupcakes.

I couldn't face the man that hurt me while I did everything he needed me to do as a wife and I wasn't ready to have that civil conversation yet either.

I came down stairs with Kyn and all he could do was smile at how big our daughter has gotten in just these short weeks. She knew who daddy was also because she giggled at the sight of Drew as I sat her in her bouncer.
