Egypt's POV

Tommy and I are doing great. We eloped a month ago after I had our son. I always joke about how Legacy and I are out numbered. I would have never guessed I'll be someone's mother and wife. As I was looking over our son sleep in the crib Tommy walked in and came up behind me hugging me. "Don't wake him up, I want some of his mama" he whispered in my ear. I turned around and kissed him "no sir, I have to do Legacy's hair". He kissed me on my forehead and was just staring at me. "What" I smiled. He shook his head." You're perfect, I love the mother you are to Legacy and Legend. I'm glad we now share a child" he smiled while telling me. I kissed him and we were interrupted by the door bell. We were coming down stairs when I noticed it was my mother at the door. I'll admit I have been staying clear of her due to Imani having drama and I don't want to hear about it.

"Mom, to what do we owe the pop up" I said trying to beat Tommy to it.

He hates when she pops up at our house and even though she had a key to my condo and she has a key to Imani's house Tommy was adamant on her not getting a spare.

"I decided to stop by and see King, is that okay" she asked. I looked up at Tommy and he nodded yes.

"I'll go get him" I told her. As I was walking up the stairs I heard Tommy invite her in to sit. I grabbed King and was coming back down when I heard my husband and mom not having a pleasant conversation.

"I would appreciate if you called before you popped up at my house. I'm not sure what E has allowed you to do but I'm not allowing it" he said.

"Let me tell you something Thomas, I pay great money out here to be head of the HOA. I come wherever I feel and that's my daughter you're married to. I don't give a damn what you're use to but I am Joyce Lincoln, that name holds weight" I heard my mom sternly speak.

I could hear Tommy getting up so I turned the corner to attempt to stop the heated argument.

"Here he is" I smiled. Tommy looked at me.

"Take King back upstairs, your mother is leaving" he yelled.

My mom got up to leave and as she was walking out she turned towards me

"If your father was alive, your husband would be finished" she laughed and walked out.

I was putting King back in his crib when Tommy was coming up stairs

"I do not want her back in this house until she learns how to speak to me and respect our home." He said breathing hard.

I nodded my head at him. I never thought I would have to choose between my mother or my husband but the bible says we are one and I have to stand by him. I walked into  our bedroom where Tommy was laying down to cool off about to cuddle with him when another knock was at the door. As we walked down the stairs he looked back at me and I looked over him and saw Imani was at the door. I opened it

"Why are you at my house" I asked.

She looked at me upset "Is Tommy here, he had no right speaking to my mother like that " she yelled.

I walked out and closed the door behind me so Tommy couldn't hear.

"Have you lost your mind coming to my house where our children lay their head thinking I'm going to allow you to fuss my husband out. Go home Imani to your shit show" I calmly spoke.

Next thing you know I'm being snatched by my hair on the ground dragged by my own sister. I don't think she realized I had just had King a month and some days ago and I'm still healing. I was yelling for her to get off of me and Tommy shot the gun in the air and Imani stopped.
