Tonight I decided to go out with a class mate and I know it made Drew upset to see me dressed up. My parents are in town and they agreed to keep Kyn for me. When Drew left I called my class mate and we agreed to meet at the bar.

I pulled up to the bar and saw my friend Chris.

"Imani!" He yelled out.

"Hey, you look so good without scrubs" I joked.

Chris licked his lips and we were really enjoying ourselves until I glanced around and saw Symone. Chris noticed the look on my face and looked to see what was putting a scowl on my face.

"Who is that"? He asked.

"A nobody" I responded rolling my eyes.

I haven't told Chris or anyone at my school that I was married let alone going through a divorce. I told them I have a daughter and I'm from Texas. I don't owe anyone an explanation about my life but I felt bad for not opening up to Chris. We have bonded and he has opened up to me. After fucking Drew, I don't know what I want to do.

Chris favorite song came on and we decided to dance and he definitely knew how to get that bitch out of my head. As we were dancing we made eye contact and kissed. He was rubbing all on my ass and I was getting horny but I had to break that shit up, I'm technically still married.

The night was going and my phone vibrated.

Drew: Hey, seeing how you doing?

Imani: I'm having fun, I'm still out.

Drew: Oh ok. My bad baby. I enjoyed you earlier and you looked gorgeous.

Imani: Thx Drew.

Drew: So is it fun actually having girls you can hang with.

Imani: .Drew, stop

Drew: Huh😕

Imani: Nothing. My phone is on 3%. Good night Drew.

Drew: lmk when you make it home. I love you Mrs. Mitchell.

Imani: Good night!😘

Drew definitely is upset I'm out and I don't like to lie. I didn't think it was his business who I was out with. Drew would never agree to me having male friends. I rarely had girl friends because what my husband needed me to be was a wife and have dinner done and the table set when he got home because we dare not eat dinner alone and I kept a clean house. I was literally everything Drew needed me to be. I didn't want kids after the 6 miscarriages and when I wanted birth control he stated "A married woman has no need for birth control" ughh I love my daughter, I just wish I was more established to depend on myself so I can care for her better.

Thinking about Drew kind of ruined the ending of my night and Chris kept asking what is wrong. He walked me to my car and we hugged and he kissed my cheek. For a minute I thought I saw a flash or lightening but I figured it was just the bar lights from inside.

I got home and my parents were asleep in Kyndalls room. They convinced me to put a full size bed in there. I sent Drew a text.

Imani: I'm home.

Drew: Its 4:23 in the a.m. wth Imani.

Imani: What? I can't enjoy a night out.

Drew: HELL NO!!! Not coming in at that time. You're fucking married. I'll be by tomorrow

Imani: Excuse me. I'm almost divorced. Don't bother coming by. Goodnight!!

Who the hell does he think he is. What has gotten into him? Drew has never talked to me like that.

7:15 a.m.

I woke up to commotion in my kitchen.

"I'm sorry but by Law here in Georgia the spouse can buy your daughter out of her lease." A sheriff at my door was saying.

"Dad what's going on?" I asked my dad whom looked angry as hell.

"Andrew Mitchell terminated your lease" my dad yelled.

"What?!!" I yelled back.

"By law you are still married. You didn't file for legal separation and he has the right to terminate the lease" my dad spoke.

I can't believe Drew. He is upset and I don't know why. He is playing dirty and to do this to his daughter and myself. I need to see him.

Imani: I'm on my way over.

Drew: Good, see you when you get here.
