Drew and I have been getting along ever since game night. He did ask me to remarry him but I'm not quite sure I'm ready to be his wife again. I'm getting the kids ready to go off with my mom since I did pick up a temp shift at the hospital since Chris begged me to. I was doing my makeup when Drew called me.

Imani: Hey

Drew: Hey baby, how are you?

Imani: I'm good. Getting ready for this shift. Are you still grabbing the kids when you get off?

Drew: That's why I'm calling, I was hoping to join you on your lunch break.

Imani: I guess Mr. Mitchell. I'll let you know when I get to work what time my lunch is. Don't forget to call my mom and let her know you'll be late.

Drew: Okay, see you later.

I arrived at work and Chris was so happy to see me walk through them doors. "Is that Nurse Lincoln" he yelled. I smiled and gave him a hug. I was sitting in the cafeteria with Chris when I heard Drew voice "What the fuck is he doing here" he yelled. I looked back and Drew was looking at Chris.

"Drew, what's the issue. This is Chris" I said with my hand against his chest.

"This is your husband, wait a minute" Chris said with a pondering look on his face.

I woke up in a hospital bed with Chris standing over me.

"Where's Drew" I asked worried.

"He was arrested" Chris mumbled.

"You knew Symone at the grocery store that day huh" he asked.

"Imani, I trusted you and I was a friend" he yelled.

I sat up in the hospital bed "Chris, I promise I did not want to ruin what you had. I want to see you happy even if it is with her." I rubbed his shoulder and we stared at each other.

I pulled up to my moms house and there was Drew's Tesla parked behind my moms car. I got out and before I can turn the knob Drew opened the door with an upset look on his face.

"Where the fuck have you been" he said stepping out on the porch and closing the door behind him.

I smirked and looked up at him. "Are you mad I didn't come get you".

He grabbed my arm and looked at me with hate in his eyes.

"If I find out you was with that nigga while I was locked up. I'll kill yall". He let my arm go and normally I don't take anything Drew say serious but I have never seen that look in his eyes.

I walked in and saw my mom was feeding the twins and Kyn was still sleeping.

"Imani, where have you been. Drew has been driving me crazy" she said shaking her head.

I looked up at Drew and he was still upset and was just staring at me. I feel like he knows or he can see it all on me.

"I was caught in a crossfire at work. I'm home now and I missed my babies " I smiled trying to avoid any eye contact with Drew.

"Imani, come help me with moving this dresser for your mom" he suddenly asked.

"What dresser " I asked confused.

"Oh he is moving the dresser out of Egypt's old room. I'm turning that into her little bundles room like Kyn and the twins have. Drew you need help" my mom yapped.

"Imani and I can move it." He said staring at me.

I walked upstairs and when I got inside Drew closed the door and pinned me between the door and himself. "Drop your pants" he mumbled in my ear. I looked at him confused

" Have you lost your mind". I scoffed back.

He had such a numb look on his face.

"I'm not going to say it again" he threatened.

I looked him in his face and whispered in his ear "Then don't ".

Drew would never beat on me and I am tired of him trying to scare me. I opened the door and was walking back downstairs when Egypt came in the front door.
