Drew has the perfect life. A great wife, CEO of 2 major companies and a new baby. Drew still managed to be a typical man and messed up. Time is not on Drew side to get his shit together.
It's been a few months since I spoke to my mom. She has been reaching out lately and I have been ignoring her. Tommy and I have had so much going on with the kids, his baby mother and me returning to work I just haven't had the time to call her back. Today I'm off and Tommy's aunt Greta has the kids and Tommy is out of town for business. I called my mom on face time.

Joyce: Hey honey
Egypt: Hey mom, how are you.
Joyce: Good, you know I had the back surgery.
I felt bad not being there for her but Tommy was serious about us not speaking.
Egypt: I know mom, I'm sorry.
Joyce: Where is King
Egypt: Tommy's family has him. You look tan Mrs Lincoln. Where have you been.
Joyce: Drew and Imani remarried and we went to the beach. I was hoping yall can uhm communicate. Please.
Egypt: I dont think so mom. I'm not in the liberty to be in her presence.
Joyce: yall are sisters. What would daddy think.
Egypt: Daddy is gone so he wouldn't think any thing.
Joyce: Watch it. I miss you E. I love you too baby. I may don't approve of your husband but I am proud of you.
Egypt: Thanks mom. I have to go. I have a ton of errands to run. I'll come by later.
I had to go grocery shopping because Tommy was coming home today and and I wanted to make sure dinner was done and table set so we can enjoy our kid free night. On the way home I decided to stop at my mom's house.
*Ding Dong*
I was waiting for my mom to open the door when Imani pulled up. My mom opened the door and smiled.
"Egypt, hey baby" she said closing the door behind her. I walked in and I smelled she was cooking my dad's favorite meal.
"Mom, you haven't made this in a minute" I said smiling.
Imani walked in with her boujie funky ass attitude.
"Hey mama" she said kissing her on the cheek and rolling her eyes at me.
"Hey baby, your sister is here" my mom demanded her to speak. Of course Imani's spoiled ass wasn't.
"I'm good" she rebelled. I shook my head and decided to speak.
