Drew has the perfect life. A great wife, CEO of 2 major companies and a new baby. Drew still managed to be a typical man and messed up. Time is not on Drew side to get his shit together.
I'm sitting here at Imani's appointment to see what we're having. I hope it's another boy however wifey wants a girl. All that matters is this time we know it's just one baby in that belly.

"Baby, I have a feeling its a girl. What are we going to name her" Imani smiled looking at me.
"I don't know what his name is going to be. We will think of something." I said bending down to kiss her. She hit me jokingly when she finally caught on to what I said.
The doctor walked in and we were all excited when he put that jelly shit on Imani belly. He rubbed the ultrasound thing around on her belly for a bit. He looked back at me and chuckled. I know this man was not finna tell me it's a girl. He stood back shaking his head and he helped Imani up.
"Uhm excuse me doctor can you wipe this jelly off my belly" Imani said with an attitude.
When the doctor wiped the jelly off he rubbed blue on her belly.
"Oh my, I guess this little boy did this" the doctor said.
I jumped up excited and Imani was smiling but I know she wanted a girl.
"We can try for a girl after this one" I said kissing her.
"Oh hell no, this is it" she snapped.
"That was cool what the doctor did. I like this place " I told her.
She smiled and got in the car. We were headed to her parent's house to deliver the good news. Imani and I been trying to stay away from that house. It's awkward talking to Mike and seeing him in his same chair. I haven't coped with it and neither has Imani.
As I was driving my phone rung and I saw it was Symone. I glanced over and saw Imani sleep so I answered.
"What's up" I answered.
"Carter and Zoe miss you" she said.
I know Symone and she must be missing this dick. I looked back over at Imani and see I was blessed with a second chance to have my wife back.
"I'll come get them. They can stay a few days with me. Get them ready" I told her.
I heard her smack her teeth.
"Drew, my kids aren't going over there with Imani. You can come visit them. Don't you wanna see me" she said softly.
"Where Chris? Isn't that your man. Look my wife is sleep and I'm not doing this. Have them ready" I said before hanging up. I grabbed Imani's hand and kissed it. I'm not messing up again.
We pulled up to Joyce and Mike house and I saw Egypt's car there. I said a prayer and woke Imani up. We got out the car and went inside the house. Kyndall came running up to me.
"Mom" Imani yelled out.
Joyce and Egypt came down stairs and Imani's demeanor and body language changed.
