After 11 years

Chapter 1

Violetta's POV:

I can't believe that it's my wedding day today, I've been waiting for this moment for like 15 years and it's finally here. My inner teenager is coming up again and it can't believe that I'm marrying my dream guy today. We've been through so much together and it's unbelievable that it's all turned out like this. If you would have told me 11 years ago that I would be marrying Leon today; I would have either laughed at you or punched you, depending on the mood I was in.

There is a knock on the door

Lu: "Vilu, are you almost ready?"

V: "Yeah, I'm just putting the final touches to my make- up, you can come in if you want."

Ludmi, Fran, Cami and Nati walk in and mom (Angie) soon follows with dad when I'm just finished with my make-up.

V: "Do I look okay? Do you think Leon will like it?"

G: "You look beautiful and I'm 100% sure Leon will think the same thing and if he doesn't, then he is not worthy of marrying you."

V: "Thanks dad, I still can't believe this is really happening."

G: "I can't either, Vilu, are you really sure you want to marry him, because if you're not you can come back and live with Angie and me again."

V: "Dad, I'm sure I want to marry Leon, I haven't been so sure of anything in my life."

G: "Okay then, but if he ever hurts you mentally of fiscally, then he will have to deal with me."

V: "I know and so does he, you've made that very clear to him over the last year and he is pretty scared of you sometimes."

G: "Good"

Lu: "I don't want to interrupt you guys, but we have to get going, we don't want to keep Leon waiting. Fede already called me that he was nervous as h*ll and that he couldn't wait to see Vilu again. Why would you decide not to see each other the whole week before the wedding, you were both very annoying because of it?!"

V: "Because it's bad luck to see each other the week before the wedding and it's a tradition in his family."

Lu: "You know that it's not a week but 24 hours, right?!"

V: "Well, in his family it's a tradition not to see each other for a whole week before the wedding."

Lu: "Fine, but you're still crazy!"

V: "If that's what makes you sleep at night, fine!"

Ang: "Girls, girls stop fighting, Ludmi this was Violetta her choice so respect it and it's her day so don't ruin it."

Rob (Roberto): "Can I come in?"

V: "Yes Roberto, you can come in."

Rob: "I just came to say that everything is ready, Leon is already at the altar. Oh wow you look beautiful Violetta."

V: "Thank you"

Fr: "Let's go, girls we're up first."

Ang: "Vilu, honey, I'm going. Just promise me that you'll enjoy this moment, because you will remember it for the rest of your life."

V: "I will, thank you mom!"

I gave her a hug and she left, soon I stood at the beginning of the aisle, my girls walking in front of me and my dad standing beside me.

G: "Ready?"

V: "Yes."

Leon's POV:

I'm currently standing at the altar waiting for my bride to walk down the aisle, I can't believe that this is really happening. A little over a year ago I hadn't seen her for 10 years and when I did see her, I knew immediately that I had to do everything I could to get her back. Getting back together with her and asking her to marry me were the best two choices I have ever made in my life. I'm so grateful that in about an hour I get to call her my wife, talking about her the music starts playing signalling that she is coming. There she is, the most beautiful women in the whole world and I'm about to call her my wife. She starts walking down the aisle and wow, how gorgeous does she look!

G: "I'm trusting you with my daughter right now, that's a big deal, so don't blow it!"

L: "I won't, I promise to take care of her!"

G: "Good"

German walks to his chair, while Vilu and I step onto the podium.

L: "You look gorgeous, absolutely stunning and perfect." I whisper in her ear, her cheeks become as red as a tomato.

V: "Thanks, you look quite handsome yourself."

L: "Thanks"

The ceremony starts, but I have no clue what he is saying, all I can do is look at Vilu and it looks like all she can do is look at me. Soon we're coming to the end of the ceremony and it's time for the vows, we decided to write our own vows.

L: "Vilu, when we decided to write our own vows I thought, well I'll make it short but sweet, I mean the sooner we're done with our vows, the sooner we get to the I do part. We've had a bumpy ride to get here, we've broken up plenty of times during our time in de studio and we've had our ten years long split. The times when we were not together were hard, in the studio I knew I had a chance to get you back, because we saw each other every day. Our ten years long split was like torture for me, I didn't know where you were or how you were, and I didn't know if I was ever going to see you again. Boy am I happy that I did, I'm so glad that you decided to come back, because that led me to the two best choices I have ever made in my life. One; getting back together with you and two; asking you to marry me. Vilu, I promise to love and protect you for the rest of my life, I will do anything and everything to make you happy and I'm so happy to spend my life with you and hopefully in the future our children too."

Vilu was crying her eyes our so I took her in my arms, when she calmed down, she started her vows.

V: "Man, how am I going to top that? Leon, ... I have no clue what I was going to say, Ludmi told me to make a note for if I forgot, but I said that I didn't need it, I clearly did. Leon, I love you so much, I'm so happy I came back and I'm so happy I gave you another chance. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world, I mean I get to spend the rest of my life with you, the one I love the most. I had a whole speech prepared, but I don't need it, and if I did, I don't remember, the only thing that matters is that I love you and I know that you love me. I'm glad we're getting married right now and I'll promise to love you too for the rest of my life and I'm happy too to spend the rest of my life with you and hopefully someday our kids too."

She cried even more now and to be honest I'm crying too; I never cry but how am I supposed to keep it dry with a speech like that.

O (Officiator): "Now that you're both calmed down again, we can start the final part of this ceremony, but first. Is there anyone in this room that had an objection against this marriage, speak now or be silent forever." It was quiet in the room, luckily. "Good then let's continue. Leonardo Oliver Vargas, do you take Violetta to be your lawfully wedded wife, for better for worse, for richer for poor, in sickness and in health, 'till death do you part?"

L: "I do"

O: "Violetta Tini Castillio, do you take Leon to be your lawfully wedded husband, for better for worse, for richer for poor, in sickness and in health, 'till death do you part?"

V: "I do"

O: "Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Leon you may kiss the bride."

Well he didn't have to tell me twice, Vilu and I share a sweet kiss and when we part, we look each other in the eye.

L: "I love you Mrs. Vargas"

V: "I love you too Mr. Vargas"

So there it is, the first chapter and it's long.

I don't know when I'll be able to update, because someone is helping me write a part of this book and I'm still waiting for her piece. So the person I'm talking too knows I'm talking to her, HURRY UP.
