After 11 years

Chapter 7

Leon's POV:

I didn't really pay much attention to the wedding, I was just looking at Vilu. She looked so beautiful in that dress, it just fits her perfectly and I can't believe that she is really my wife. My attention turned back to the wedding when I heard the officiator start the 'I do' part.

O: "Ludmilla Ferro, do you take Federico to be your lawfully wedded husband, for better for worse, for richer for poor, in sickness and in health, 'till death do you part?"

Lu: "I do"

O: "Federico Paccini, do you take Ludmilla to be your lawfully wedded wife, for better for worse, for richer for poor, in sickness and in health, 'till death do you part?"

F: "I do"

O: "Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Federico you may kiss the bride."

Oh and kiss they do, it's a very romantic kiss, it reminds me of our wedding. I look at Vilu and she smiles at me, clearly thinking about the same thing I was thinking about. They walked back down the aisle with Vilu and me following behind and we got ready for the reception.

L: "Now I would like to introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Paccini!"

They walked in and danced their first dance, which was very romantic.

L: "Now it's time for one of my if not the favourite part of today, the speeches of the maid of honour and the best man. Violetta, would you do the honours?"

V: "Of course, first of all congratulations Ludmi and Fede, this day has been amazing and very romantic. If you had told me 15 years ago that I would be standing here at Ludmi's wedding as a maid of honour, then I would have thought you were nuts. I mean we didn't really like each other when we met, actually the same goes for Fede, we didn't really get of on the right foot either. It's funny that the moment we became what we didn't want to be, sisters, we got closer. When you started having issues with your mom we got close and the getting close part I will always be grateful for. Fede, when we became friends you always tried to make me see the fun side of things, even when there wasn't one or I really didn't want to see it. You did everything to make me smile again and you became a brother for me and look what you are now; my brother-in-law. I'm really grateful for you two as friends and as siblings and I wish you all the happiness in the world, in your marriage and in life."

L: "That was a beautiful speech, this time I'm being honest, but even if it wasn't a good speech I would have said the same thing since I have to because your my wife."

That was a very wrong thing to say since that earned me a smack on the back of my head.

L: "Sorry honey, I love you and I really was a beautiful speech."

I kissed her and she kissed back so I guess I made up for the most of it.

L: "I think that Vilu was right about the 'if you told me 15 years ago that I would be standing here as Fede's best man at his wedding with Ludmi that I would think you're crazy' part. I have to admit it is weird, Ludmi is my ex, no hard feelings there I don't think we were even in love, and Fede had a crush on my girlfriend, now wife. So to say that this situation is weird then you're right, but on the other side we put that behind us and we're really good friends now. Back to the couple, I believe that you two are a match made in heaven. You two really complement each other and you bring out the best and dim the worst qualities in the other. Fede, I don't know how you do it, but you dim the diva in Ludmi and that seemed impossible. While Ludmi, you dim the cocky egotistical side of Fede, which also is quite hard. So you two really are better together and I wish you all the best, have a happy and healthy marriage."

After the speeches we had a great reception, we laughed a lot some of us *couch* Vilu *couch* had a little too much to drink. Of course when Fran got drunk we had to play truth or dare, surprisingly it was a normal game with no weird challenges or questions. When the night ended we went back to our hotel room and quickly turned in since it was a long day. I also needed a good night sleep to have enough energy tomorrow since we are leaving for our honeymoon then. I really can't wait for tomorrow since Vilu doesn't know where we are going and I think she will like the honeymoon I planned, at least I hope she does.
