After 11 years

Chapter 8

Violetta's POV:

We woke up early this morning, because we have to pack and be at the airport by 11, since our flight is at 1. Leon told me to pack for warm weather, but I still don't know where we are going. He keeps telling me that it's a surprise and that I will like it, but I just want to know where we are going.

L: "Are you ready?"

V: "Yes, let's go"

We check out of the hotel and leave for the airport, we already said goodbye to everyone yesterday so that we didn't have to do that today. When we got to the airport it was 11 a.m. so we were perfectly on time. We got through security and were on the way to our gate when we suddenly stopped at one. I looked at the screen next to the entrance of the gate and saw that the flight at one p.m. is a flight to Mexico.

V: "Are we going to Mexico?"

L: "Yes, my aunt, uncle and cousins couldn't make it to the wedding, so I thought you could meet them in Mexico. I booked us a stay in an all-inclusive hotel for the honeymoon and my aunt and uncle live 10 minutes from there."

V: "That's amazing, I'd love to meet them."

L: "Good, we can meet them tomorrow if you want, I know everyone will be there then."

V: "That sound great."

We soon boarded the plane and were on our way to Mexico, the flight was about 10 hours, but I slept through most of it. When we landed Leon woke me up and soon we were of the plane and on our way to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel it was amazing, it was such a beautiful hotel and our room was even better. It was around midnight when we were settled in our room so we went straight to bed so that we would be as well rested as possible.

Leon's POV:

When I woke up I saw Vilu snuggled up to me and I realised again just how lucky I am to call her my wife. I look at the clock and see that it 10 a.m., since I promised my aunt that we would be there by 12 I decide to wake Vilu.

L: "Vilu, Vilu wake up, it's time to get up. We need to have breakfast and be at my aunts house in two hours."

V: "Good morning."

L: "Good morning love, do you want to have a shower?"

V: "Yes please, I really need to wash my hair."

L: "Okay, why don't you take a shower and I'll get us some breakfast."

V: "Yes, thanks!"

After Vilu took a shower we ate our breakfast and soon it was time or us to leave. We walked out of the hotel on our way to my aunts house and we were indeed there after 10 minutes.

Ab(Abby): "Leon! Long time, no see, it's so good to see you." She said while hugging me.

L: "You too aunt Abby!"

Ab: "Oh and this must be Violetta, it's so good to finally meet you!" she pulled Vilu in a hug too.

V: "It's so good to meet you too Mrs. Vargas."

Ab: "Oh just call me Abby, we're family after all and you are now a Mrs. Vargas too!"

V: "Thank you Abby"

Tr(Trace): "Abby who is at the door? Leon, how good to see you! Oh and you must be Violetta." He hugged the both of us.

Ab: "Violetta, this is my husband Trace, just Trace, no Mr. Vargas."

V: "It's nice to meet you Trace."

Ab: "Oh, come in"

We stepped inside and walked into the living room.

Je(Jess): "LEON!" she jumped up from the sofa to pull me into a bone crushing hug.

L: "Hi Jess, not so tight please I can't breath."

Je: "Oh sorry"

Luk(Luke): "Leon my man, long time, no see." He too pulled me into a hug, what can I say, they're huggers.

L: "Luke, good to see you! Vilu, these are my cousins Jess and Luke. Where is Daniël?"

Je: "Still on his world trip. Oh Violetta, I heard so much about you, I'm so happy to meet you!" and there is Vilu her bone crushing hug and of course Luke hugged her too.

L: "How long has Daniël been gone by now?"

Luk: "About a year, he said he'd be back this month, but we have no clue when, we barely talk to him with him not taking his phone.

L: "Aha, Vilu Daniël is my oldest cousin, he's been enjoying a world trip and to really enjoy it he didn't take a phone with him.

Luk: "Leon I have to go, I have a training, you want to come?"

V: "Training?"

L: "He is a professional motor crosser, do you mind if I went with him?"

V: "No go, I'll just get to know Abby, Trace and Jess a little more. As long as Lara isn't there."

L: "Lara won't be there, and otherwise she doesn't have a chance, because I already have you." I kissed her and walked with Luke to the front door.

V: "Love you!"

L: "Love you too!"

Violetta's POV:

Je: "Do you want to watch a movie?"

V: "Sure, what movie?"

Je: "Do you like Cinderella?"

V: "Of course I do"

Je: "Which one do you want to watch?"

V: "I like all of them, you can choose."

Je: "Let's watch 'Once upon a song' I love that one."

Jess put on the movie and we had a blast watching it, when we just finished watching the doorbell rang and Jess stood up to open it.

Je: "DANIËL!!!"

Jess jumped in Daniëls arms and he spun her around, soon Abby and Trace walked in and embraced him too. I stood up and walked into the kitchen to get something to drink, I also wanted to give them some privacy.

Da(Daniël): "And who is this hottie?"

I turned around and saw Daniël was standing there, I wanted to say something to make clear that I'm married. Until I remembered what Leon said before he left, he told me that if Daniël came in that I shouldn't say anything about being married to him, they have some kind of bet going for years. I think that the bet is about who will get married first or something like that. So instead of telling him who I really am and that flirting won't work I'll just introduce myself. Besides if he is able to pay attention to detail, then he can see my engagement and wedding ring.

V: "Hi, I'm Violetta."

So there it is, another chapter.
