Liam woke that next morning and did his daily duties. They were getting less and less with Kieran running and doing everything around camp. Liam wanted him to stop so he could have something to do too. He ate lunch and then was walking to the campfire to sit when John approached him with Charles by his side. "Hey kid, me and Arthur been cooking up something. We found a train that's running through Scarlett Meadows that we think would be a nice take. We need some extra guns, you up? Figured it'd be some good training for you." John asked. Liam thought about Lemoyne. He didn't want to ever return. "Of course. Just tell me when to be there." Liam replied excitedly. "We leave tonight. We'll meet Arthur there." John notified him.
Liam spent the rest of the day thinking about the train. He was excited to go robbing, but not so much to head back to Scarlett Meadows. While he was sharpening his knife, John yelled to him. "We're heading out. Make sure you got plenty of ammo." At that, Liam grabbed his guns and climbed onto Colter and followed John and Charles to Old Trail Rise.
They climbed off their horses and walked up to meet Arthur. Unbeknownst to them, Sean was also there. "What're you doing here, kid?" John asked Sean, slightly annoyed. "I'm coming John, on the job." Sean replied. "I said you weren't coming." John argued. "Yeah, well Arthur says I am. And it's his party, boy. So come on, let's go! Me and the big cheeses, and a little cheese, love it. Can't wait to slit some bastard's throat." Sean said as he climbed on the wagon. "You sure about this?" John asked Arthur quietly so Sean wouldn't hear. "No... are we ready?" Arthur asked the posse. "Yeah, train's due through tonight." John informed him. "Alright then, it's on. Charles?" He asked. "I'm ready." Charles replied. "Liam?" Arthur asked. "Ready whenever you are." Liam replied. Arthur and Sean took the seat, John and Charles took the front end of the wagon, and Liam climbed on the railing behind John. "Gentleman, lets go earn some money." Arthur said as the wagon took off.
"Hey, all the horses untethered?" Charles asked. "Think so." John replied. "Good. They should follow on behind us." Charles said. Liam looked back to see Colter, Old Boy, Taima, Ennis and Arthur's horse, Trigger, following behind the wagon. "You find a good spot, Wolf Man?" Arthur asked jokingly. "Yeah, follow the trail southwest. There's a spot that's... remote, but should still give 'em enough time to spot the oil wagon." John answered. "They see this blocking the tracks, they'll stop soon enough." Arthur said. "Apparently, it picks up a new team of guards at the border, so shouldn't be much in the way of guns to deal with." John said. Sean looked up.
"See, this is what I mean. I disappear for a couple of weeks and you cut me out of all the action." He told the group. "Just the action that requires a brain." John shot back. Sean sarcastically laughed. "Oh, you're a funny feller, John Marston. From what folk say, you had your feet up the whole time playing sick, and fondling that new scar like you're gonna buy it breakfast in the morning." John glared at him. Liam had no idea what they were talking about. "You don't know what you're talking about." John argued. "Stay close on this, wouldn't want you getting scratched by a squirrel or something. That could put ya outta commission for the rest of the year." Sean teased. "Why do you have to speak so much? It's... incessant." Charles asked. Liam agreed if he was being honest. "'Cause I still got some blood in me veins! You old bastards have forgotten how to live. And you're teaching the younger Englishman here to be as lame as the three of ya." Liam didn't take offense to anything he said. It was in Sean's nature. "I blame you two for rescuing him." John told them. "Far too much trouble for what we got out of it." Arthur replied. "Yeah, takes a whole army of bounty hunters to bring in Sean MacGuire. And look at me now, in the gunner's seat. Back in business, boys! Ya know, my da always used to say..." Sean was cut off by Arthur, John and Charles groaning and telling him not to mention his da. Liam laughed. Sean must've always talked about his "da". Sean frowned. "Fine! Damn you three! Sulky, Angry and Scar Face. A right barrel of laughs. At least the kid has some humor in him, right Liam?" Sean asked. "If you say so." Liam replied.
