"Hi are you Mr. Odell?" The old man smiled at me and nodded his head."Well hello, I'm Madison Ross." He kindly took my hand and gave it a firm shake.
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Ross. I was taking a look in your folder and saw that you were passing all your classes with flying colors except this one." I looked down kind of embarrassed."So I'm guessing you switched to my class because your teacher wasn't good enough." My eyes widen and I shook my head.
"No, sir, he just had a faster teaching rate than what I'm used to." I lied.
"So you chose the old man to help you." I put my head back down feeling heat rush to my cheeks."Calm down. I'm just messin with you, kid. Now go find your seat." Nodding I run to find a seat.

"What do you mean Mr. Payne wasn't there?" I asked Bree, confusion present in my voice. She kicked off the wall and stepped in front of me.
"Yeah he wasn't there today and the girls were saying he wasn't here yesterday either." My heart started to pound rapidly."Maddie are you okay?" I shook my head.
"No what happens if he's not here because of me?" I cried. She wrapped her arms around me and soothed me.
"What's going on here?" Asked Harris. I shot up wiping my eyes before I run to him."Are you alright, Ms. Ross?"
"Why is Mr. Payne not here? Is it because of me? I'm so sorry, Mr. Harris."
"Oh Ms. Ross, you have such a big heart. Mr. Payne told me what happened a couple of days ago and he told me to send his apologies. But to answer your questions he is out because of business related problems." I smiled up at him."So Ms. Gonzalez and Ross enjoy your month off." He turned to me with a smile."I'll be at the show, but I'm not Harris there I'm Danial if you see me. I got to get the ladies." I rolled my eyes and said my goodbyes.
"You really do have a big heart you know that?" Bree laughed as her arm slumped around my shoulders. I smiled and wiggled my eyebrows."And you're so short." She teased.
"Bitch." I mumbled.
