"Welcome, here is your schedule. If you ever get lost don't be afraid to ask a student where to go." An older man informed me.

"Thanks." I replied as I took my schedule.

This wasn't the first time I had changed schools. In fact, this was about the fifth. My dad often changed jobs. So, I never really intended to get close with anybody here.

As I walked out a boy came up to me, only a tad bit taller.

"I know you're new, and I need your help." He said as he pulled me into the janitors closet.

"Before you decide to kiss me suddenly. I like girls." I explained.

His breath was quick as he ran his hands through his hair. I could tell he was sweating.

"There's this girl I like. Her name is Yeji and I want to make her jealous so I can ask her out." He explained.

"Before I agree, what's your name?" I asked.

"Huening Kai, but most people just call me Kai." He replied.

"And what do I get out of this?" I asked him.

"I can make you a complete heartthrob. I know a couple guys that can help and you'll have all the girls over you." He explained.

"Yeah, not interested." I sighed grabbing onto the door handle. Suddenly he grabbed my wrist  and looked into my eyes.

"Please?" He asked, looking deep into my eyes.

I thought for a second.

"I'm not the best actor." I stated before walking out.

"And that's Taehyun." He finished introducing me to his friends.

"Nice to meet you all." I smiled eating my food.

As Kai began explaining the whole fake dating situation I looked around at the students.

There was a table of four girls, all of the girls had long hair, except one had bangs.

At another table say a large group of boys who were clearly seniors, seven boys to be exact.

The last table that I could see had five girls sitting there. One had very striking blonde hair. Another one had a slick ponytail and the person next to her had some kind of space buns.

"I see you've spotted Yeji." Kai said.

"She's the one with the space buns." A guy with blue hair told me.

I nodded and went back to eating.

"So is this your first time moving?" A boy asked me. I think his name was Soobin.

"No, my dad moves work a lot so we have to move too." I explained.

"That's cool." Kai replied.

"So when do we start this whole dating thing?" I asked.

"A week into school, so that people don't think we just automatically started dating." He told me.

"Alright. But if this plan fails it's your fault." I snapped.

A couple minutes passed by and it was already time for next period. I said my goodbyes and headed towards my locker. As I struggled to remember my combination, a girl came up to me.

"You're that new girl right?" She asked.

"Can I help you?" I asked.

"I'm Jisoo." She smiled sticking out her hand.

"Y/n." I shook her hand.

"Do you have science next hour?" She asked me.

"I'm pretty sure I do." I told her.

"Good luck, she's the worst." She warned me.

"That's great." I groaned as my locker flew open.

"Just wanted to warn you. But I'll see you around." She waved.

"Uh, bye?"

"And then we have Jennie. Baddest girl in the school. But only her friends can see her soft side." Kai explained.

I nodded pretending like I paid attention.

"This is the road I take." I pointed to my right.

"I keep walking forward." He sighed.

"I guess I'll see you later." I waved.

"Yeah, see ya." He smiled.

He walked forward as I took a right.

I shoved my earbuds in and hit shuffle on a Spotify playlist. Not many other kids walked home, I guess most of them had cars by now.

I pulled out my phone and text my dad that I had indeed survived my first day.

I took out my key to the house and tried my best to put it in the lock. After about ten tries I got it in. I turnt the door knob and got a whiff of a new house smell.

The house was pretty empty except for the couch that had already been set out. I put my backpack on the counter and walked into my new room.

It was a pretty decent size, it could fit my air mattress so I was happy.

I plugged in my phone and sat on the folding chair.

"Alright, let's find something to do." I sat back up. Looking around the house, I only saw a few boxes. The moving van wouldn't be here for some time.

"Let's go explore around town." I said to myself, grabbing my phone off my charger.
