Hallee watched with a smile as Sabrina kicked a ball around with Alexia and Mal. She was having so much fun. Morgan was with Lindsay and Rose. He seemed like he was having fun. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair.

"Excuse me, you're Hallee Irwin, correct?" A male asked from behind her.

"Yes I am," she smiled at him when she turned around.

"Hi, I'm Jeff Lemieux, Senior Director of Broadcasting with the New England Revs," he held out his hand, "it's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too," Hallee smiled.

"You've been doing amazing things with Arsenal."

"Thank you. I was very fortunate," Hallee nodded.

"This is Brad Feldman. He does play-by-play on television and radio with Paul Mariner who does colour commentary."

"You look so familiar," Hallee said to Brad as she shook his hand, "you with the Rapids when they won the Cup ten years ago right?"

"I was. Incredible to see what you've been doing with Arsenal," Brad smiled.

"Thank you so much. It's great, but I miss home," Hallee said honestly.

"Home being North Carolina, Colorado, or Dortmund?" Paul tilted his head at her.

"The United States in general. I love London, but it's not home. Dortmund was lovely. It felt more like home than London does," she said honestly, "I'd love to come back to The States."

"Really?" Jeff asked.

"Oh yeah. I miss The States every single day."

"What about Christian?" Brad asked.

"You work in media. I'm sure you saw what happened. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. But I haven't ruled a move back here."

"Well, here's my card. If you do decide to move back to the US, we'd love to have you. We would be willing to buy out whatever contract you have with Arsenal," Jeff handed her a card.

"Thank you," she smiled and tucked it into her pocket.

"Of course. Feel free to reach out with questions," Jeff nodded before the three men walked away.

"What was that about?" Lindsay asked walking over carrying a sleepy Morgan.

"They offered me a job with the Revs if I decide to come back to The States."

"Wow. I figured you'd go to Colorado and work with the Rapids," Rose tilted her head.

"I haven't made any decisions yet."

"Mommy! I 'megged Mal!" Sabrina ran over.

"Did you? That's awesome! Good job, Sabs!" Hallee high fived her.

"Daddy told me how to!" She smiled innocently sending a pang straight to Hallee's heart.

"I'm sure he did," she forced a smile.

"Come on—it's time to leave," Hallee took her hand.

"Okay!"

"Hallee, hang back a minute!" Her boss walked over.

"Sure, what's up?"

"Jordan is going back to Colorado for the play off game, so you'll be doing in-game host for tomorrow's game."

"Okay, sounds good thank you. Are Sabrina and Morgan still okay being up in a box?"

"Absolutely. We'll have an assistant with them the whole time. And you're welcome to have them on the field with you before the game."

"Thank you so much."

"Of course. Also, Chris Evans and his whole family will be in a box for the game, but he's agreed to come down to the field at half time to talk with you. We'll be presenting him with a jersey."

"Wow. Okay, sounds great," Hallee smiled.

"See you tomorrow."

"Tomorrow," Hallee nodded.

"And I know it's really not my concern, but I'd seriously consider the Revs job. They're a great club to work for."

Hallee watched as her boss walked away. She bit her lip and sighed as she shouldered her bag on and took Sabrina's hand again. She walked out of the stadium to her rental car and helped Sabrina in before getting Morgan into his car seat.

She drove back to the hotel, and holed up in her room like she had done the pervious few nights. Instead of going to the team dinner, she ordered room service. Hallee spent the night doing research on Chris Evans about his up-coming Broadway show so she could come up with some questions.

She had no idea that game would change her life forever.
