When it's time for my lesson with Luda, he thought it's best to do it at the same place where I train instead of changing the location. It has something to do with my track records of causing mishaps whenever I learn new things. Safety first. As always, Auntie El is present whenever magic is involved. Compare to Lord Sol who talks about facts and being pedantic on the details, Luda's teaching method is more considerate. He takes into account beforehand in his explanation in rewording the information and only states what is necessary. He patiently explains when I want to know more or things that are difficult to grasp. It doesn't take long for me put it in practical use during training.

During one of our lessons, Luda conjures a magic circle on the ground and a humanoid rock golem rise forth until it stands four meter's tall right in front of me. Luda doesn't stop there and proceeds in summoning iron golem, mud golem and tree golem. Four types of golem stand side by side, leaving me breathless.

"Move."

With Luda's command, all four golems flawlessly move forward without any awkward movements.

"Stop."

The golems halt and standstill. My eyes shine in amazement and my body squirms with curiosity about the golems' structure.

Luda takes me out of my trance by saying, "The first golem ever made was a horse. Its body was made hollow as a cart to carry belongings, with hooves instead of wheels. The dwarves called it a golem carrier. The golem was first made to help the gnomes in compensation for their fragile build."

I imagine the golem carrier in my head. When you replace the horse head into a driver's seat, then it's a truck.

"Has there been an improvement of golem carrier aside from the horse?"

"I'm afraid not. Golem carriers are mostly used by the dwarves-kind. When you receive the opportunity to visit Kiln Mountain, you'll be able to see a diversity of them."

After that, Luda enthusiastically demonstrates all sorts of things the golems can do with the right command sequence embedded in their core.

"These golems before you have been meticulously constructed from its shape to the joints. Normally, a golem does not need a core. The creator's mana is enough to will it to life and follow simple commands of its creator. If you want the golem to make even more complex movements and assign a specific role, one has to insert magi formula into a mana stone and attach to its core."

"Then, which one of these could hold out Chief's attack? You made this many for his test, right?"

After marvelling the golems' magnificence, it arouses my curiosity over how strong the golems are. I want to see them fight. With perfect timing, Chief arrives.

"What is this, Luda? You prepared your golems after sensing me coming, have you?"

Chief talks with amusements and his eyes change to the excitement.

Chief does not wait for Luda's response. I think he doesn't plan to. As soon as he's done talking, Chief invoke earth blocks and sturdily cover his body except for his face and takes a fighting stance.
