Luna and Roy blankly stare at me.

Roy throws another question. "'Serenity'. Is that the name of the unknown magic you did for that tainted monster?"

I happily nod then turning my head at Luna, asking her for permission.

"Shall we get started?"

"A moment Iris." Luna raises a hand and put a pause on my sudden burst of energy. "What exactly are you going to do? I've been informed this spell 'Serenity' is your creation and it's been most helpful to the keepers."

The unofficial oral report Luna received were all the same. A direct citation is written as such - 'A spell that effectively calms monsters and magical beasts alike'. Naturally, as director of the sanctuary overseeing and caring for injured monsters and magical beasts, Luna would desire to implement such valuable magic for the benefit of the sanctuary and the growth of the keepers' ability.

Luna continues speaking, "However, we cannot be certain it would achieve similar results for those confined in this domain."

Brushing aside the concerning gaze from Luna, I earnestly persuade her to go ahead with the plan. "Please, let me help. I had a lot of practice controlling the spell when I went around the sanctuary with Amber. It won't hurt to try to find out."

Roy supports me as well. "The kid's right, Luna. Let her try."

I give Roy a sidelong glare when he refers to me as 'the kid'.

Luna continues to refute, "If something goes wrong, something like the last time..."

Roy cut off her sentence. "Don't worry. We're here accompanied by a Great Wolf and Iris can cast a barrier for protection."

"That's right," I agree with Roy and adds with confidence. "Auntie El and Lord Sol both said I excelled in barrier magic since its strong and sturdy and could withstand any attack."

Seeing Roy and I tries hard to convince her, Luna eventually gives her approval with a bit of reluctance. Then, Luna steps aside to convey the message through the communication magi device while I silently give Roy a victory high-five. Although my main reason for doing this is to help out Luna's dilemma with the monsters and magical beasts, my silent desire is to come across any wild and exotic creatures hiding in the enclosures that aren't easily accessible even by just aimlessly strolling through the sanctuary. There are plenty of wild monsters out in the forest, why bother with this? It's not the same! I'm not satisfied with my current encounter rate with felines.

With light steps, I walk back to the middle point of the circular area, this time with Bane beside me. For this to work, the limiter on the default covered range is lifted. Before that, I need to show them that it can also be done within the desired range to relieve some of their concern about the way I'm using magic. Of course, I will approach with extreme caution.

I begin once Luna returns after notifying the keepers. "I'll explain step-by-step while gradually expanding the spell."
