new look

you, Hachi and Nana were sitting on the couch in the now clean room.

you had placed all of your food in the fridge after cleaning out the bad food out. you we're quite surprised that it still worked. you had a look around and found various cleaning things, tool kits, subway maps,blueprints, and other things.even a few weapons.

turns out this room had a few extra rooms connecting to it to. a locker room, shower, staff bathroom, and even some decently sized changing rooms.this place was actually like a small apartment.

luckily you had found multiple spare keys for the room, so Hachi and Nana could still get in while you weren't around. speaking of Hachi, he didn't look to comfortable at the moment.

Y/N: you OK Hachi?

the octoling in question turned his head toward you

Hachi: huh? oh, yeah. what makes you ask?

Y/N:you look uncomfortable

Hachi: oh. well, this thing is kinda tight.

he said pulling on his shirt.

Hachi: and these boots are alittle uncomfortable after wearing them to long

Y/N:ah. hold on a second.

you pulled one of your duffel bags that you had placed next to the couch onto your lap, and looked around in it for a second before pulling out a red cuttlefish LS and a pair of suede grey lace ups

Y/N: here, you can have these.

Hachi hesitantly grabbed the shirt and shoes from you.

Hachi: are you sure? what if you want to wear them?

Y/N:i have other clothes, don't worry. go get changed into it and see how it feels.

Hachi did as instructed, and got up to go get changed in the changing room. nana looks at you for a moment before speaking up.

Nana: do you have any other clothes?

Y/N:sure. your clothes to small to?

Nana: not really. but it'd be nice to put something else on.

Y/N: OK, let me take a look.

you rummage in your bag again, and this time pull out a black fishfry bandanna, a annaki dive tee, and a pair of punk blacks.

Y/N:will these do?

Nana: sure! let me go get changed.

Nana gets up and goes in the same direction Hachi went, just as Hachi comes back.

Hachi: do i look OK?

Y/N: you look good in that. how's it feel?

Hachi: much better, thanks.

Y/N: no problem. your my friend, and i wanna make sure your ok.

Hachi raises an eyebrow at you.

Hachi: friend?

Y/N:yeah, friend. why, do you not want to be friends?

your words were slightly saddend at the end, and Hachi noticed this pretty easily.

Hachi: well yeah, i wanna be friends. just didn't think we'd be friends this easily. we meet like, an hour or two ago....we do get along though. and you helped me and Nana even though you didn't know us, so i'd like to be friends.

he smiles at you, and you return the gesture. you feel arms rap around your neck from behind, and someone jump's on your back.

Nana: i already said " we're not letting our friend go alone", so we're obviously friends already.

Y/N: thanks you two, that means a lot to me.

octo duo: no problem

Nana jumps off of your back, and you notice she had her new clothes on.

Y/N: lookin good, those clothes really suit you

Nana smiles and faintly blushes from your statement.

Nana: thanks Y/N.

Y/N:no problem.

you go to the fridge and pull out three deep fried shwaffle's and three drinks. a special saver latte for Nana, a short respawn mocha for Hachi and a special up Smothie for yourself.

Y/N: come get some food.

you put the food and drinks, except the smoothie and one of the shwaffles on the table in the room, and the duo go to eat in peace

you had finished your food and wanted to check the various lockers of the locker room, while Hachi and Nana chatted in the main room. you tried to open the first locker, but it was locked. you brought your foot back to kick it open, since kicking things has been quite successful so far, but then a new thought came to mind. you grabbed the key for the door that you got from CQ-Cumber earlier, which you now had on a necklace so you didn't loose it, and tried using it on the lockers lock. it worked... that's a very bad design flaw. anyone could take anybody else's stuff without much trouble.

none the less, you checked inside this locker, and every locker after that.

you had been at this for a couple minuets. you found some clothes, various CQ-80's of different models, both squid and octo phones, a couple of laptops, money, some more weapons, some food and drink vouchers, and you were on the last three lockers.

you opens one of the lockers, and found some old octoling armour and goggles, or "scopes" as they're really called,from octo vally, and what looked like a solid gold hair pick.

Y/N: nana might like this.

you grabbed the hair pick and put it in your pocket, so you can give it to her later.

you then open'd the next locker, and found some gold polish, which you found interesting

next, in the last locker, you found a cape, like threes cape, but without anything on it, and it wasn't worn out. it was like new.

you look at the items of the last three lockers, and thought for a moment.

Y/N:hmm....

you grabbed the peaces of clothing from the lockers and walked into a changing room

you stepped out of the changing room, in your new outfit

you now had the now gold (or at least it looked like gold from the polish) octoling goggles over your eyes, and goggle's goggles were hanging from your neck. you still had your hero headphones and the wireless earpeace that connected to eights CQ-80 on. you had your hero jacket open now, showing off the golden polished octoling armour underneath, and under the armour was a black t-shirt. on your back,swaying in the air from the air conditioning that the subway had, was the black, blank cape.

you looked at yourself in a mirror, and smiled.

Y/N:i look good.

you went to share this new look with your friends, exited to see they're reaction
