chapter 3

"Are you serious!?" Luka exclaimed making Marinette flinch a little at his sudden reaction

"so you're saying that this Lila chick has lied before, more than once, and they've gone and believed something they hear from that same person without any proper proof?" he asked

"yep. that's just about it" Marinette replied

"sounds a bit retarded if you ask me. Are they really that thick enough to believe such bullshit?" said Devany

"seems like it. but I don't care if they don't want to be around me anymore. I mean sure it hurt at first but t least now I know they don't know me or trust me as well as they claimed to" Marinette sighed. she looked up at the three with a small smile

"what I am grateful for though, is the fact that you three and surprisingly Chloe, stand by me. I mean Devany and Chase, you guys haven't even known me for a full day and you've got my back" she chuckled

"well of course. any good friend of Luka's, especially one he talks a lot about, is a friend of ours" Chase replied

"Anyway, seeing as there's no school tomorrow, are you guys free to have a sleepover?" Marinette asked

"well I have nothing to do, so yeah why not?" Devany replied

"Yeah I'm free," said Chase

"same," said Luka

"that's great. I'll call Chloe to come round too"

"your talking about the Mayor's daughter right?" Chase asked

"Yeah, why?" Marinette replied. Chase just shrugged and looked at his phone. "no reason"

Later on, the others went back to their houses to collect some things for the sleepover and when they came back, Chloe was also already there. they did their greetings and then began to play some games

"Right here's my dare for you Luka" Chase started. Luka just sighed knowing what he's possibly going to ask

"kiss the person you like the most here" he dared with a cheeky grin. Luka just rolled his eyes at the brunette. "of course he'd say something like that" he thought to himself. but he wasn't going to back out or he'd have to do a forfeit.

"come on man! you don't even need to think about it"

Luka just sighed. he took a deep breath and began to make his way towards Marnette. when Marinette realized that it was her he was going to kiss her heart made a hard thud against her chest the closer he came. a million thoughts began to run through her mind. "he's gonna kiss me? what if I have bad breath? where is he going to kiss me? what if I'm not a good enough kisser? what if-" her thoughts were cut off when she felt something soft press against her lips. she focused her eyes onto Luka whose eyes were closed as he kissed her. she began to melt into the kiss and then kissed him back, hesitantly placing her small hands on his shoulders and his hands snaked around her waist. their kiss lasted longer than expected since they were unfortunately disrupted by Chloe loud cough. they pulled away from each other, both red panting a little form the lack of air they had.

"well...you guys seemed to be enjoying yourselves didn't ya?" Devany chuckled with an amused yet shocked look on her face. Chase also looked shocked. he didn't expect Luka to go ahead and kiss her on the LIPS! he thought he'd just go for the cheek or something, but DAMN Luka had the balls to just straight up kiss the girl's lips.

"great going man" he congratulated patting Luka on the back a little harder than he needed to.

"Well, would you look at that Marinette. you got yourself a little action there" Chloe giggled. she was also shocked. she had always wondered if Marinette would ever get a boyfriend or even just do anything with any other guy since all she used to do was pretty much chase after Adrien. she feels pretty...proud of her to be honest.
