I thought i'd be nice uploading two chapters today. i mean i have pretty much nothing more to do since the UK is on lock down so yeah. enjoy!
next morning
Marinette seemed to be feeling extra giddy today. Tikki noticed and she knew why. she was actually up...on time, singing as she got ready which is something she never actually does. Tikki didn't expect Marinette to be this happy since the date was only at a concert but she's not human after all so who is she to judge. she likes to see her friend happy even after everything that's going on.
"you seem happy today Mari" Tikki said. Marinette let out a happy sigh
"couldn't be any better" she replied in a sing-song tone. she finished brushing her teeth and then dressed up

"c'mon Tikki. Chloe said that she'll be waiting at the gate" Tikki flew into Marinette's bag and they made their way to school
"Chloe!!" Marinette called. Chloe smiled and walked up to marinette giving her a hug which actually shocked the girl. she didn't think much of it but hugged her back.
"your on time...for once" Marinette chuckled. "i'll take that as a compliment" the two girls walked inside and as they did, all eyes were on them. everyone facial expression was the same. anger, bitterness, hate and disappointment all mixed in their eyes and they scowled as they went by. but the glares weren't sent exactly to both. sure not a lot of people actually liked Chloe but Marinette was sure that the glares were for her. she didn't think to much of it since it happened pretty much everyday but today...seems a lot more harsh and intense. without realising she tripped. now she knew she was clumsy at times but she knows her own trips. someone tripped her up on purpose. she ignored the laughs that were directed at her after her fall. Chloe helped her up
"ok. which one of you low lives tr-" Marinette cut her off. "it's fine Chloe. they want to get a reaction"
"yeah well your lucky that it didn't put you into the state that you left Lila in!" that comment came from Alix. Marinette looked confused but Marinette just assumed Lila made a fake scar of bruise or something again. she just rolled her eyes and the two girls walked to class.
