The early morning sun was already well risen and the spring grass shone like it had its own gentle glow within. The air felt fresh, that same coolness combined with moisture Eunsang always felt when he reached for the coffee cream. Tho it was late enough for bright light, it was early enough for the streets to be almost deserted. Apparently 7am was the sweet-spot for him in Seoul.
He enjoyed his coffee when the knock on the door interrupted him from his thoughts.
-Heeeey, you're early-he smiled brightly- Come in-he invited his guests.
-Yeah I know we're early but I have some articles to review later with this dumbass-Hangyul replied, approaching the counter, taking two coffees for him and Minhee.
-Your place is nice-Minhee commented heading towards the living room which consisted of one bed, a tv and a book shelves. Everything was made out of wood and the light shining through the big windows was making it so bright and pretty. It was a one room appartment, kitchen, bedroom and living room were in one, tho kitchen was separated with a counter. The bathroom was small but it was a perfect appartment for a single person.-You gotta buy some chairs unless you want people to sit on the bed you sleep on-he added smilingly.
-I will, I'll do it for the weekend after all the meetings I have scheduled end-he deeply sighed, taking another sip of coffee.
-It's a big day today, huh?-Hangyul raised his eyebrows.
-I mean...Yes, but everything is almost settled, I just need a few signatures and the deal is on-he explained-tho, my boss has called me 2 times since this morning already-he rolled his eyes.
-Well, he's investing everything in this new mall, it's gonna be huge-Minhee's eyes widden.
-Yeah, tho it'll take months, maybe even a year till it it's finished, but the idea is good-Eunsang agreed.
-I still can't believe you're here-Hangyul slightly pushed his shoulder.
-Me neither-Eunsang weakly smiled-but I guess it was meant to be for me to return here eventually-
-After 3 years you finally got the promotion you deserved...now you're stuck here forever-Minhee teased.
-Shut up, I missed you guys and everything about this city-his eyes shifted to the window-so, when are we finally going out and celebrate my return?-he asked the boys..
-On Friday, we have arranged everything and everyone already confirmed their attendance-Hangyul cleared his throat-...I mean...almost everyone-
-He's not coming?-Eunsang asked but somehow, it didn't surprise him.
-Apparently he's very "busy"-Minhee mockingly spoke the last word intentionally.
-With work?-Eunsang's curiousity woke up.
-With work...and other stuff.-Minhee silently said but he's tone was serious-He's different now,Eunsang.-
-What do you mean?-Eunsang asked, ignoring the phone ringing on the counter.
-Junho is just...I don't know...He's not the same person as he was on the college-
-Come on, it's been 3 years, it's not like a person can change that much -Eunsang smiled, waiting for his friends to agree with him but they just looked at each other, avoiding to face him.-I thought you all hang out often?-
-We do, he's usually there with us but...-Minhee started-...answer your phone already, it's annoying-Eunsang noticed Minhee changed the topic on purpose but he decided to go with it for now so he answered the phone.
