Chapter 7

Lucifer's pov

"What?" I shouted.

"Your parents are missing, Lucifer," Chase said.

"What the hell you mean missing, Chase? What kind of Beta you are?" I yelled at him.

"Sorry Alpha," he said with his head down.

"Sorry won't do anything. Go search for them," I ordered him.

He left without a word, leaving me alone with my thoughts. My parents were missing, so I had to take care of my pack till they were found. 

'Am I capable of doing this?' I thought to myself. 'I have to, I cant let my pack be in danger. They are all my family. How many I escape from my responsibilities. I have to take care of my people,' I spoke to myself.

"Lucifer there has been rouge attack in the neighbouring pack," Chase told me.

"Do you think that they would have kidnapped my parents?" I asked him.

"I don't know, but they almost killed your mate and she is in ICU now," Chase said.

"What the fuck? You mean Daisy?" That was all I was able to say. I fell on the ground with my hands on my head. 'Why is the moon goddess is giving me all the problems at the same time?' I cried inside. 

Chase came near me. "Look Lucifer, this may be a test for you. Moon goddess doesn't do anything without a reason." I just nodded my head. We remained in silence for few seconds.

"I am going to see Daisy. Take care of the pack. Make the pack warriors stand in the borders of our territory. Mind link me if anything happens. Make sure females and kids stay inside their house," I ordered him.

"Oh my god, Lucifer you sound exactly like your dad," Chase said with a chuckle.

"Do what I say. I will be back as soon as possible," I said and left without waiting for his reply.

I wanted to see my mate so badly. I shifted and ran as fast as I could.

Daisy's pov

After an hour or so I got up and saw my abdomen it was full of bruises. As I was examining my bruises I heard shouts of my pack's females.

I ran out to see what was happening. There stood a big black wolf growling and my pack's females were cornered. I shifted immediately into a big black and white wolf.

'I am Alpha's daughter I must take care of my pack,' I said to myself and ran towards the black wolf down. I stood on it and bit its throat wildly and it was dead on the spot.

Before I could smell the victory air a grey wolf with a black round in his left eye smacked me down. "Die bitch," he shouted and bit my leg. I let out a scream like a hurt dog.

Before I could think how to tackle him, he gave me a slap with his paw in my face an I blacked out.
