Chapter 8

Lucifer’s pov

I stood in front of my Mate’s pack hospital. I heard a lot of yelling from inside. I didn't go inside, I stood outside hearing what were they shouting.

“Where the hell were you people when they came?” a female voice yelled.

“Sorry madam. We were in the border of our territory but they came in through the Nightwalker pack’s territory,” a male voice replied.

‘What the hell? How did they enter from our territory? What were the warriors doing? What was Chase was doing?’ I thought to myself and entered the hospital. 

As soon as I entered the hospital, my Mate was standing there with a huge plaster in her beautiful face and bandage in her leg, and in front of her, two boys of my age were standing with their heads down.

“Daisy, what happened to you?” I asked walking towards her.

“None of your business, traitor. Why are you here?” she hissed at me.

“What do you mean by traitor, Daisy?” I asked her.

“I know you Lucifer, as we are Alpha-less and weak, and by fucking hell you found me as your mate, trying to take over our territory? Not even in your dreams you a**,” she shouted at me. My wolf began to get angry my eyes began to get dark. I got an urge to shift at that spot.

“Look, I don’t have any wish to take over your territory. I just wanted you to be mine. I fucking loved you, but not anymore. Don’t let your words out anymore Miss Alpha” I shouted back at her.

She opened her mouth to say something but closed it. After 10 minutes of silence her eyes began to water and she just ran away without a word. I felt bad. She was the one thing I wanted in my life, but now I hurt her. I turned and left to my territory. 

As I was on my way, Chase mind linked me. 'Be here as soon as possible.' I ran as fast as I could. I opened my pack house and was horrified by the sight.

Daisy’s pov

I got up. It took me a few seconds to adjust to the light. As my vision was clear, I felt a pain in my face. I limped and went to the mirror in my hospital room because I had a bandage in my leg and I saw a huge plaster in my face. As I was examining my wounds a nurse came in and told me “Your beta is here mam." Though I couldn’t go fast, I limped as quickly as I could.

As soon as I saw him in the reception I started to yell. “Where the hell were you people when they came?”

“Sorry, madam. We were in the border of our territory, but they came in through Nightwalker pack’s territory,” he said hanging his head down. 

As I was about to order him to call a war against Nightwalker’s pack, I heard a voice “Daisy what happened to you?"I turned and saw Lucifer standing there.

“None of your business, traitor. Why are you here?" I hissed at him.

“What do you mean by traitor, Daisy?” He asked me. 

‘Does he think himself as brilliant?’ I thought myself.

“I know you, Lucifer as we are Alpha-less and weak, and by fucking hell you found me as your mate, trying to take over our territory? Not even in your dreams you a**,” I yelled at him. I saw his eyes getting dark.

“Look, I don’t have any wish to take over your territory. I just wanted you to be mine. I fucking loved you, but not anymore. Don’t let your words out anymore Miss Alpha,” he shouted at me in an Alpha tone.

After 10 minutes of silence, I ran to my hospital room as I could feel my eyes watering. I cried because it hurt me.

As I washed my face, I got a call from Macy.

“Hey dais, how are you feeling now?”

“Ya good,” I replied blankly.

“Sorry, I was not there to see you because yesterday I came to my mate’s house and you know what? He marked me, and I am officially Nightwalker pack’s female beta,” she squealed the last part.

“Happy for you, Macy. So when are you coming to meet me?” I asked her.

“What? Coming to see you? You have to come here. You are the female Alpha of our pack. So when are you coming?” she questioned me. 

‘Poor girl. She doesn’t know that Lucifer doesn't love me anymore’ I thought to myself.

Before I could answer, I heard a lot of yelling. It was like someone shouting out crazily. As I was about to ask what was happening the line went dead.

‘I wish nothing happened to Lucifer,’ I thought. 

My wolf mind lined me. ‘Can we go see my mate? I am worried.' 

‘Ya sure come on, let’s leave,’ I replied her. I took my purse and phone and walked towards the door to leave.

As I was neared the door something hard hit me in my head. Before I could see who did that, I got another hit, with that I blacked out.
