Chapter 4

Lucifer's pov

I was standing in front of the room where she was, in her pack hospital. I didn't want to go in. Grey told me, "I want to see my mate lets go in."

 I replied, "What if she doesn't want to see us?"

 He growled at my response and said "She will." I thought I lost the battle so I went in.

She was lying in her bed with bandages over her head, hand, and leg. It was a painful sight. Hot drops of began to fall from my cheek. I was not strong enough to see her that way.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw me. My lips formed a curve. I was smiling at her.

"What do you want? Why are you here?" She questioned me.

"I came here to see my mate."

"I am not your mate, now just get lost from here." She started to raise her voice.

"No baby, this is not how you talk to your Alpha," I said with a smirk.

'Wait what am I doing?  I'm calling myself Alpha. This girl is making me go crazy. Am I falling for her?' I thought in my mind.

"Look Mr. Alpha, I am not your Luna. You better go search for some slut who will fulfill your need for one night. I know about you; Macy told me. You are such a Man whore, and you want me to be your's? How can I believe that you will not leave me? I will only be one among those blondies. You better leave now," she yelled at me. I was hurt. Truth bites.

'Ya I am such a man whore' I thought myself. I didn't get angry instead, I went near her, kissed her forehead, and left.

I knew she wanted me but I didn't know what was wrong with her. I went home. My mom was in the kitchen making pasta. I went near her and hugged her tightly.

"What is it, dear?" She asked in a caring tone.

"I feel rejected, mom. My mate does not want me. She rejected me mom," I told in a hurt tone.

"Why honey? what happened?"

"She is thinking that I will hurt her, break her heart, but after seeing her, I am not able to imagine a life without her".

"Honey calm down. Your father was Mr. Playboy of our high school. To his bad luck, we found that we were mates only after me finding out that he is a whore. I tried staying away from him but couldn't do it because its the moon goddess who decides whose mate is who. Your father tried many times to make me love him, but it was all in vain. I was one of the cheerleaders of our school, and your father was football team captain of our school. It was in a match when the game got over, your father came to me straight and cameras were focused on us. He knelt down on one knee, pulled out a Saturn box, and showed it to me. Inside was a diamond ring. He asked me, 'Will you marry me Mona?' Tears started to roll down my cheeks, and I nodded my head. That is how I ended up with your dad and with a cute son like you," she said.

Wow my dad was a damn romantic person, but I saw him strict only. Then I realized how important she was.

'wait what is her name?' I asked myself. Nevermind my mate is important for me and Grey.

"Thanks mom." I gave her a hug and went to my room.

Daisy's Pov

When I opened my eyes slightly, I was in my pack hospital. Slowly my eyes started to get adjusted to light.

When they were fully open, I saw my mate standing there with tears in his eyes. Though I wanted to be in his warm arms right now, I did not do it.

 Instead I asked, "What do you want? Why are you here?"

"I came here to see my mate."

"I am not your mate, now get lost from here." I started to rise my voice.

"No baby, this is not how you talk to your Alpha," he said with a smirk.

"Look Mr. Alpha, I am not your Luna. You better go search for some slut who will fulfill your need for one night. I know about you; Macy told me. You are such a Man whore, and you want  me to be your's? How can I believe that you will not leave me? I will be only one among those blondies. Better leave now," I yelled at him.

 I expected that he would be angry, but he wasn't. He just walked over, kissed my forehead, and left. My feelings began to stir up. I wanted him so badly. I wanted to be in his arms.

'He is mine' I said to myself. I needed some time to get into a relationship. Yeah, I wanted him to mark me and make me his Luna, but something in me stopped me from doing so.

As I was busy in my thoughts, I got a fucking damn pain in my stomach. I held my stomach tightly and cursed "Fuck.
