Chapter 14

Chase's pov

I lost my parents when I was five. I was bought up by Lucifer's parents. Though we were not blood related, we were like brothers.

I found my mate on my 17th birthday itself. She was like most beautiful being in this earth. On my 19th birthday I saw Daisy that is when I felt an urge to have her as Mine, but I found the next day that it was Lucifer's mate. So I burried everything inside my heart.

Then one fine day Mark came to meet me..

"You don't want to be Alpha of your pack ??" He asked me..

"Why are you asking me this ?? What do you want ??" I asked him a little irritated.

"If you listen to me you can be Alpha of your pack" he said smirking.

"What?? When did I tell you I want to become Alpha ??"

"I know you have that in your heart. Lucifer is useless. He will lead your pack in the path of danger. If you become one you can be a good leader" he said.

'Ya he is right, Lucifer is not a responsible leader. If I be the Alpha I will take care of my pack'

"And I also no you are interested in Daisy. I will make her as you'd." he said with a smirk.

"What you will get from this ??" I asked him. 'What is going to get from this?? I mean ya this is good for me. What is it for him??' I thought to myself.

"I will save my pack from that useless Lucifer" he said with clenching his jaw.

"What you want me to do??" I asked him immediately.

"This is what I wanted Chase. First I want you to kidnap Lucifer's parents" he said with an evil smirk.

"Ok, but how ??" I asked him.

"I will hire rouges for that" he said me.

"Ok now-" I was cut off by my phone ringing. It was Macy.

"hey dear" I said.

"Honey can you come to the park" she said.

"Okay I will be there in 5" I said and ended the call and turned towards Mark.

"Ok bro got to leave call me" I said and I left. On my way I was thought 'I am the only person perfect for the post of Alpha'.

One night Lucifer left to his mate's house. I knew that was the right time. I called Mark and told them to send the rouges.

They came and kidnapped both of Lucifer's parents. I went to the place where they were kept. It was a dark godown. Mark was standing in the doorway and was smoking.

I asked him "Now what??"

"Kill them" he said.

"What??" I asked with my face full of confusion.

"Do you want to be the Alpha or not ??"

"Yes I do" I replied immediately.

"Then do what I say" he said.

I nodded and went inside. As soon as they saw me their eyes were filled with hope. I felt like I was betraying them.

"Am sorry Alpha" I said and took axe that was on godown and chopped both of their heads. The blood splashed all over my shirt. I sat there and started crying.

Mark came in.

"Whoa head balls" he said seeing the heads of both.

"You made me do this. They were like my parents" I said sobbing.

"All because for you Chase" he said patting my back. With that we left that place.

I sneaked inside my house and took a shower.

After sometime of sleep I woke in mh bed sitting and wondering

'Am I doing the right thing??'
