I believe that happy memories are a double edged sword.

When you remember them,
it's not always happiness that you feel,
But also longing,
For the smiles that led to tears.

And you find yourself asking....
Where is that 'me' in my memories.

You drew memories in my mind
I could never erase.
You painted colors in my heart
I could never replace

You made me feel emotions
I didn't know back then.
You shattered a pity
Of my self- loathing and regrets.

We impact in both good and bad
So think before an action.
It doesn't matter if you're mad
A raging emotion doesn't justify.
