Season 1 insight~
She thought she'd never see him again, she thought she should just forget about him, she thought he would just be a part of her past
But all those thoughts turned out wrong. Y/N had found her best friend, and now teammate, along with five other friends she'd burn the world for.
Yet bad situations are always derived from good ones. With a new villain at their back, a cunning one at that, things are hanging by a thread when you have to fight someone you thought you could trust..(this starting chapter is half written off of the Ninjago series. I wrote it by memory so I don't think it's that accurate. Any other chapters after this are made up by me :>)
Y/N skipped down the road, thrilled to meet Jay again today.
She was only 10. And with parents who make no effort to spend time with her, what else was she supposed to do?
Suppose you couldn't blame them. Some people just get so over themselves with work, they forget about the things that should be prioritized..
Y/N could see a glimpse of Jay at the entrance of his parents' junkyard. She loved coming here, it brought out her innovative and imaginative side when creating new inventions with Jay.
"Hey N/N!" Jay called out with utter excitement. The two have been working on something for a while and expected to finish it around today.
Y/N transitioned into a small run and messed up Jay's hair while passing him. "Hello Jaybird!" The boy grabbed her hand and led her to their usual hideout.
"Alright, I fixed the electrical panel on this thing so all we need to do is finish the legs and attach them" Jay explained proudly.
Y/N always had to be home by 9:00 PM, it was a rule from her parents she never dared to break. She never liked being alone, so the girl had began making herself a little friend. Jay, being the person he is, happily joined in with the project.
Jay scavenged for any parts to make the tiny legs of their creation. Y/N beamed at the peculiar looking parrot in front of her. A fully functional companion for those with no one to talk to.
She took the scrap pieces from Jay and had started to map out how to create the legs for this bird.
"Here, I'll help," Jay offered, pulling out a pencil from his pocket. He started drawing some ideas on a piece of paper, till they both settled on one.
Having your father being an engineer had its perks.
Immediately, they got to work. Cracking up a conversation as well.

Jay held up the mechanical bird up to the sky, which had little light left from the sun just below the hills. Y/N had a smile full of glee set upon her face. She glanced at her watch.
It was only 8:34. The walk back home wasn't far so she was fine.
Y/N flicked on the switch and the small robot bird came to life, with flapping with and flying around the place crazily. Both Jay and Y/N cheered, high-fiving each other.
They chased the bird around for a bit, finally catching it and turning it back off.
Edna appeared around the corner, with her recognizable innocent look.
"Oh! Hello Y/N, I didn't know you were here," she exclaimed. Y/N turned around and smiled. "Hello Mrs. Walker!" Her enthusiastic voice had made Edna smile.
