Y/N saunters around the Bounty, giving herself a tour.
Of course, no one else did it for some reason. That's one way to be introduced into new environment.
For one thing she has no idea where she's going to sleep. Will it be a nuisance living life with another human being around? Although it was boring and forlorn, she kind of misses home already.
Disappearing without a trace. Won't that worry some people?
Then again, she won't be surprised if it doesn't.
The girl watches the show above her. The night sky on a cloudless night, the sky is wiped a dark shade of blue, with white specks littered everywhere.
As if you splattered white paint onto an empty canvas. Along with the stars, a bright and large orb sits in the dark abyss. The moon, gleaming down on the quiet streets.
What is Y/N gonna wear to sleep? Is she going to have to keep her ninja outfit thingy on?
On that note, Y/N doesn't even consider herself a ninja yet let alone a comrade to anyone here. She's had pretty much no training, she knows NOTHING about her powers other than the fact they're moon-related, doesn't know her team well at all, and she's not the best in the world with stealth.
Back to her team, she just feels so..distant from them. Almost like they're being exclusive towards her. I mean sure, Cole sparred with her once earlier today. But after that, poof! He treats her as if he's never heard of her.
Y/N reminds herself of what happened during dinner not long ago. Jay was okay, and it was obvious Nya was trying to be nice, but inside something was telling her to stop communicating with her. The rest, didn't really try.
Maybe Y/N shouldn't have accepted this.
It would be better to keep the blindfold on, remain strangers. It's better than being in a fake team.
Y/N breathes out a shaky sigh, sliding down the side of the Bounty and letting the breeze mess her hair up. It's not like she cares anyway.
..no one's watching her, no one will see her if this fails.
Gently, Y/N raises her hand to the moon. The thought of her potential powers invades her mind. She falls into a deeper hole of mystery than before.
With a few seconds, nothing happens.
"I knew this was stupid. I have no powers," she grumbles to herself, accepting the fact she should now just leave.
Just the thought of them in general angers her. Y/N punches the air in front of her, imagining one of the ninja in that position. She doesn't know why she's doing that, she has no reason to.
A light flickers on from inside, and a head pops out of the doors. Y/N makes eye contact with Lloyd.
"Y/N? How come you're up this late? It's midnight." Lloyd walks towards her, and takes a seat on the floor.
All Y/N does is shrug. "I'm not just gonna barge into the place and do whatever I want. I have no place to sleep, but that's fine. I'm probably not staying for long anyway..." She mumbles the last part, hoping Lloyd won't hear it. But most everything else has gone badly today, what would one more mistake do?
The green ninja turns towards her. "What do you mean, why won't you stay for long? You're needed in this team."
The rest of Y/N's words are said in her mind. It's best she doesn't make the situation worse.
Lloyd waits, but only receives silence in the upcoming seconds. Instead, he speaks again.
"I know you just came here today, and it's probably difficult to trust us. It's the same with us, we don't know who you are and I'm sorry for being a bit...exclusive towards you. But if we're going to trust you, you have to trust us too."
