Dramatic: My Life

I walk in the woods,

So very old,

Looking back at my life,

Like a story told.

My graduation,

Rainy and cold,

A sea of hats,

Tears hard to hold.

That blissful day,

When I was wed,

So joyful and happy,

Down the aisle she was lead.

When my child was born,

A lovely little boy,

So small, cute, and cuddly,

So happy with his toy.

That miserable day,

When my bride left her life,

In the grave she would stay,

No longer my wife.

My life was an ocean,

Calm and stormy,

A ripe red apple,

Sweet or wormy.

As I walk in the woods,

So very old,

Wrinkly and worn,

And very cold.

I'm finally calm,

No troubles in life,

I'm ready to go,

And join my wife.
