The third generation Samagraha declares war,
Hayden Mackay chooses to kill. The time of great decisions has approached.
In the view of Almourah's wanton attacks on the country, the Formation Samagraha has openly declared war on the Clan of Almourah. Panchayat, with only two dissenting votes, approved the resolution in the record time of 22 minutes after Hayden Mackay, the grandson of Late Harsh Thribhuvan had denounced himself as not to be a potential candidate to rule the Rawat Dynasty and instead admitted his enthusiasm for wanting to excel as Samagraha first.
The debate that held was one-sided. Hayden Mackay thrashed the logic and rules recited by the Panchayat with the forgotten Acts written in the Book of Law. His statement -'"It's about time we end this madness. Everything concerning and related to Almourah will have to come to a full stop with this impending war." ' provoked a strong reaction from the Higher Officials. A barrage of questions was raised, one of which was asked by the King of Omble Dynasty, Madhyakshetra, "What will be the proof of evidence that you've successfully accomplished in the task?" To which he replied - "I'll return with Almourah's body and cremate him right here in the Panchayat. I'd love to make all of the officials sitting here as the third-party witnesses."
Millions of hearts greeted him with thunderous applause as the rest of the Samagraha backed him in the grave decision that clashes with rules originated by the late King of Rawat.
It will take time, Hayden Mackay warned but promised the victory. He spoke concisely and clearly to the already convinced jury members that the output of this war might decide whether or not to accept the inherited throne.
Harakara were the busiest workers in the current situation, spreading the news and stories throughout the country, one of which reached to Celina's hands. She chewed her lip, reading the tabloid. She read and re-read, hoping that it wasn't true, that she was only hallucinating. Hayden cannot do this! He shouldn't do this! Who would know better than her, about Almourah's hunger to devastate a Cornelian user? It was one of the reasons for her to stay aloof from her friends. She hissed, remembering that unfortunate day when she received the clear-cut message. One finger gently traced the acid burn on her arm, the wound that was never going to heal.
She drank a gallon of soda to quell her anxiety. It took her a while for the fact to settle in but after a lot of careful self-deliberation, she smiled through her tears.
Maybe she had underestimated her friends.
The way Hayden chose to go after Almourah actually deserved full worth of appreciation. The entire nation must be impressed and filled with a glimmer of hope that things can still get better, especially after she had ruined it in the first place. Moreover, if his plan worked, he might gain the confidence to treat himself as a symbol of regal authority.
One stone. Two birds.
The thought made her absolutely delighted but at the same time puzzled.
How was he going to kill Almourah without her support and assistance? Was he aware of all the legends and myths that Doctor had told her about? Did he know that the Pride worked according to the person's wishes? Perhaps she just had to believe that he had done his necessary research before he took the decision. The decision that she never wanted him or any of his friends to take, after everything Doctor and she had undergone in Uttarameer.
Again, she shouldn't have underestimated her friends, especially him because of whom the Moonstone was free of the curse.
She shook her head thinking about him. A few memories she had of him from the academy came back to her. All those training sessions with a Cornelian user were an experience when they talked heart to heart and instantly became good friends. Hayden Mackay was just a three-day-old Samagraha carrying the burden of the first-ever job of finding an abducted Pruthvi. He had spent day and night mastering his stone, adamant of getting the basics of handling a Formation right.
