America P.O.V
It's been a day since Russia went missing. I couldn't sleep at all last night, I kept thinking about where he could possibly be. Was he captured? Did he get lost? Is he scared? Is he hurt?
Is he dead?
I don't think I got a wink of sleep. Even when it was morning, I was still wide awake despite not getting any rest. My phone was charging on the bedside table. I turned to lie sideways on the bed and stared at it from the side, waiting for a notification from the group chat which would be a message from Ukraine or Belarus updating us on Russia's whereabouts.
It wasn't until 9am when my phone vibrated, I had gotten a notification. I sat up and snatched my phone up in one swift movement, I had never clicked on a chat notification quicker in my life. To my dismay, the update was the one I hoped wouldn't happen.
U:Russia still isn't back. We've called the UN.
G:That's bad. Very bad. What can we do to help?
A:Fuck, not again. Whoever caused this is going to the depths of hell.
C:I didn't realise you were awake
A:Is that really what's important now?
C:Right, sorry. But I think you should calm down, we need to focus on finding Russia first.
A:That's true... sorry for that rude message, I typed that without thinking.
C:It's okay
J:How long will it be until we receive news from UN?
P:That's horrible. How are you three holding up?
B:To answer Japan's question, probably by the end of the day. UN said they're prioritising this. To answer Poland's... in all honesty, not well. And to answer Germany's, we can only do what we did last time which is ask around if anyone has seen him.
G:I see. I'll help.
P:Me too. I hope he gets found soon.
J:Count me in!
C:I'll help as well
My fingers hovered over the keyboard. It wasn't that I was thinking if I should help or not, I obviously should. I was thinking if I should help Russia in another way.
C:Ame? Hbu?
A:Of course I'll help! That should be obvious.
U:Thanks, everyone. Nothing can express how grateful we are.
B:Mhm, thank you all
I took a deep breath and typed.
A:By the way, Ukraine, are you free right now?
U:Not exactly. Feeling anxious rn.
A:In that case, I can come over to your house.
U:What for?
A:I need to talk to you about something.
U:Can't you just dm me?
