I don’t remember who I am, how I got here or what’s happening. The one thing I do remember though is this is not my home planet. My home planet was called Earth. It was a beautiful place with all different variety of species, the beautiful ocean, blue skies, mountains and all different kinds of wonderful landscapes. On this planet, it’s just like my memory; empty but not completely. You see, on this gravitational planet, there appears to be something in front of me but I’m not completely sure of what it is but it appears to be some kind of coil which has the word “activate” on it. I’m kind of worried of what will happen if I pick it up. But, I pick it up anyway. I pick up the coil from the ground of this empty, red planet. The coil’s big enough to put on my arm so so that’s exactly what I do.
My eyes flash before me and images flash in front of my eyes. They appear to be… memories. The memories are of me with other humans on planet Earth. They flashed by so quickly I couldn’t tell what was actually happening in the memories. I do remember on the last three pictures though, they slowed down. One of them was of me in some sort of transportation with other humans, the picture that followed after was the transportation flipped upside down with everyone appearing injured and the very last picture I remember was of a woman looking over me, she was crying. The images have stopped now but I’m in a different surrounding.
There are species here, but not like anything I’ve ever seen before. Some species have hair that changes according to their moods, species with computers as heads, cyclops’ and many other strange things. They’re all boarding space ships. I ask a cyclops who seemed to speak my language where everyone was going. The cyclops looks me dead in my right eye and whispers “Wake up” and walks away. Well, that wasn’t very helpful. I watch as the species leave this red planet and fly towards a different one in their spaceships. Other species from the planet they must be planning to invade fly over to them and all hell breaks loose. Laser beams shoot out of the space ships guns at the enemies. I watch them all, as they slowly kill each other one by one.
I look around on the yet again, empty planet for any other sign of life that I can ask what’s going on. But I see nothing besides a spaceship with the word “Lilly” written on it. What a funny name of species I think to myself but then I realize, if there’s no other life on the planet because they’re in world war three among the stars, does this mean… The spaceship is for me? Is my name Lilly? I’m not a hundred percent sure but I get into the spaceship anyway. I’ve never flown one before but everything felt so natural and I started to fly it towards the fight. Another spaceship approaches mine and starts shooting. I can barely see who’s shooting but I know they have a huge head, antennas and three fingers on each hand. While they shoot at me from behind, I turn my spaceship around and start to shoot back at them but I don’t last to long among the fight.
The last thing I remember seeing was my spaceship exploding into a million pieces, as I was falling though all of the other spaceships that there were there before had disappeared and now I’m just surrounded by blackness but I feel a warmth wrapped around me. The blackness is slowly starting to disappear and I wake up in a bed and the woman hugging me is the same woman who was crying in one of the images. My memory… It’s coming back to me. “Lilly!” Shouted the woman hugging me as a watery liquid comes out of her eyes. The woman hugging me… She’s my mother. I’m in a room, a hospital room, with my mother, father and the doctor. The doctor walks over to me and starts to talk to explain everything “Lilly, you were in a coma for about one week, we weren’t sure if you’d make it after the car accident.” Everything makes so much sense now. I am Lilly Rose Whitley.
